NotLikeItUsedToBe (Alanna LaCasse) is a failed lab experiment gone wrong. Whenever she's not exploring or writing, she's ALWAYS drawing

She enjoys the beach and hanging out at the Jupiter Reef Club. She usually writes her books based on her daily life, and enjoys curling up with a good book. So far, she likes to read horror and comedy, but she usually prefers comics. 

Since her parents are divorced, she constantly has to go back and forth between them, and it gets confusing. At her moms house she lives with a raccoon, two rabbits, a Turkey, a turtle, her mom, her stepdad and brother. At her dads, she lives with a Shiba inu, her dad and his girlfriend, and their roommate.

She usually likes listening to the Hamilton soundtrack and dreams of doing something great that benefits the world. Although that dream may seem impossible to others, to that she laughs and says "Did Alexander Hamilton become one of the founding fathers by not believing in himself?"

Alanna is devoted to her work. Her colorful vocabulary and excellent writing capabilities impresses anyone who reads her books. Her supportive family is her inspiration and her motivation to try her best and to never give up!

Now, even though she is serious most of the time, that doesn't mean she doesn't have a sense of humor. Being the comedian she is, Alanna loves to make people laugh and bases her jokes on her mistakes. Though, not everyone likes her jokes, but that doesn't matter to her.
