PRELUDE:

I joined Wattpad in 2018 and have just celebrated my third anniversary as an @PoetsPub follower.

Achievements:

2019: Won my first @PoetsPub monthly challenge.
2019: Invited to became a writer for @storyteller-sallon and contributed 90 Chapters and other collaborations.
2020: Honoured by my peers when voted as the Pubber of the Year, something considered a special award. 
2021: Won my second monthly challenge
2021: Nominated for the Founders Award and added to the list of Poets in Perpetuum, a role I am honoured to fill.

BIOGRAPHY:

 I am from Bristol, England, UK, Europe, Planet Earth

Married, but separated, with three grown-up children and two grandchildren

My profile on Amazon Kindle has grown slowly since joining Wattpad and contains a few more short stories and I have serialized a book that began life as an @PoetsPub Acrostic Halloween challenge but is now a comic book-like series of short stories, with five episodes published to date.

 I can be found on Kindle under my own name Stephen L W Lane.

I was inspired by my daughter's writing at school and began writing some years ago, during this time, discovered Acrostic Poetry, at first, I saw it more as a stimulating mental challenge.

It has become my preferred form of poetry and my acrostic poem Space, Time and Its Origin, which is science and philosophy, based, and became the opening poem and title of my first poetry book.

I have a general leaning toward 'Philosophical', 'Science' and 'Spiritually' based poetry, the latter being something which was originally inspired by my wife's interest in spiritualism.

Since becoming a member of the @PoetsPub family, I have discovered that a whole new world of poetry exists, not just the classical stuff I'd been introduced to as a young boy, something that was of no interest to me. And have found that I can enjoy writing in genres that previously were of no interest to me.
