DO NOT MAKE YOUR CHARACTER KNOW ABOUT THESE PLANES UNLESS YOU HAVE ACTUALLY TALKED TO A CHARACTER THAT HAS EXPLAINED THEM TO YOU. IT IS MEANT TO BE FOUND OUT, NOT JUST UNIVERSALLY KNOWN.
If your character is living, then the level of raw mana within this realm will obliterate you in a fraction of a second, and your "soul"/life force/etc. is overloaded as well, obliterating that simultaneously.
Middlrealm overloads any living thing that was not created from within it with mana, obliterating it beyond power levels fathomable to nearly any sentient mind. The realm exists between other planes of existence, the cushion that keeps them from actually linking. It is a realm that very few can go to and survive, and fewer even know about. There were once two species in Middlerealm, however they were destroyed, leaving just he who watches the rifts and windows open and close endlessly. Time in Middlerealm fluctuates randomly. Amidst the white nothingness that is outside of the small "floating island" are small black items that seem to be something like stars expanding across the entirety of Middlerealm.
