Hey, everyone!

So, I'm going to start off with telling you a bit about myself. I guess that's what I would use a description for, I don't know what you really do with them.

- I'm 19 years old.

-  I am a proud Canadian.

- My hobbies include writing, gaming (is that even a hobby?), a bit of drawing, and reading.

- I am an introvert. (Basically meaning that it's not that I don't like people, I just need some time to 'recharge' sometimes and write for a bit. That's just my way of 'recharging' as an introvert.)

- I have two severe diagnosed mental disorders. The first being severe social anxiety, and the second being major depression. (It can also be referred to as clinical depression, but I also suffer with it at a 'high level', so I just refer to it as 'major depression'.

- I'm a very shy person, and I usually have a very hard time making friends. Therefore, when I do get friends, I have a huge fear that if I tell them about my mental disorders, they'll leave me. (Much like two of the closest people in my life already did to me, so you can see why it is so bad now.) Writing is my big escape from reality in those kinds of situations.

- I have two friends that are everything to me! Without them, I don't know where I'd be right now. The support that I have received from them keeps me going everyday. :)

- My favourite color is blue. (It's just so amazing! I love the way the color makes me feel when I see it; calm, cool, and inspired.)

- This isn't really important, but one of my favourite quotes is one that was written by singer and artist Demi Lovato:
"Sometimes being afraid shows more strength than being fearless."
