The reviews for my two genres have been posted - first and second place for Fantasy, and all five entrants for Animal Fiction. I did enjoy reviewing them. But perhaps that's because of how incredible the books are.

Still waiting on those Teen Fiction and Werewolf/Vampire results, unfortunately, but I have faith that they will appear at some point. Stay tuned!

The reviews for Action/Adventure, Poetry and Romance genres for The Wolf Awards have been posted!

Sorry it took so long, and sorry the length varies so much. I know for next time to specify length. Though I might actually write reviews myself, when I do something like this again - I've quite enjoyed reviewing books so far. Perhaps Wolf Reviews might become a thing? Or maybe that's me being too ambitious.

Anyway, enjoy reading your reviews, and congratulations to everyone who won! I'll be writing Animal Fiction reviews next, and then Fantasy.

For Teen Fiction and Werewolf/Vampire entrants, your results should hopefully be up soon. Once again, sorry for the delay.

FurAndFeathers

And finally, the Fantasy results are out!

It's taken me far too long to get these to you, and for that I apologise. A lot has been going on for me, and I've also had to run the awards itself, which was much harder than I realised. But anyway! The results are here now, and well done to every entry! I did enjoy reading them.

It was especially hard in such a huge genre, too, so you did extra well to win!

Congratulations to the winners - @siennafrost with Obsidian and @McKraven with Assassin's Realm - The Lost King in tied third place, Daughters of Fate by @MathiasCavanaugh in second place, and @jessicatreader with Ice Dragon in first place - very well deserved!

The reviews prize hasn't gone very well for any genre - with judges writing reviews of varying lengths (which is my fault, since I didn't specify, and you all still wrote great reviews) - but I promise I'll try to get something to each of the winners, in every genre. Just don't be disappointed.

Also, I have some unfortunate news. The judge for Horror/Paranormal/Mystery has dropped out. Since it's too late to recruit another judge, this means I'll have to pull the plug on your genre. I'm sorry, I just don't have the time to judge them myself. I promise I will hold another contest at some point this year, which all of you can enter again.

But for the Fantasy winners, a huge congratulations! :)

FurAndFeathers

@ElmaSamardzic It is a shame, and I'm really sorry. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do if judges simply aren't replying to me, or can no longer judge what they said they could. If I get time over the next couple of weeks, I will try to judge your genre, but it is difficult. Next time I do any sort of contest, I think I'll have to think about how I do the judging - you did fine, as did others, but I have been let down by some. All in all, this awards has been quite disorganised on my part, and I am sorry for that. I'll be able to plan better in the future.

@ChloeLeia561 I’m afraid I’m still waiting on the judge. I know they’re working on it, but there’s been a few technical difficulties and such. They will be out hopefully soon! :D

CLUB UPDATE - The Reading Centre is posted!

Welcome to the new Fur and Feathers club, our Reading Centre. This is a place less constricted than our old club. Instead of me setting assignments that are the same for everyone, you can choose who you exchange with, and I will make each exchange personal to you.

For more information, do read through the 'Information Board' chapter of the new club. It contains the rules, and everything you'll need to know. To join us, simply fill in an Entry Form! We'll open requesting once we have at least five members.

I really hope you'll come and try this out! This is very much a trial period, so if you think that there is anything that would improve the workings of the centre, do let me know.

Thank you to all that participated in the book club, however short-lived it was. I hope you'll come to join me here. I promise, I won't give up again. This one will grow and thrive.

IMPORTANT CLUB NEWS

After consulting my discord group, a PM conversation and having a long hard think myself, I have decided to close the book club. Members will finish their assignments for this week, and then the club will be taken down.

But don't worry! For one, it isn't going forever. The lack of members is frustrating me at the moment, especially how I'm having to participate myself just to keep up numbers, which I hoped I wouldn't have to do. That's not to say I don't like and appreciate the current members - there just simply isn't enough talented, reliable people who have enough time to dedicate to a book club.

And two, I've had another idea. It's still in development, but I think it could work much better and gain a lot more interest than the current club. So, here goes.

I plan on creating a sort of organised read for read type thing, in which animal writers can request a read exchange with someone else, and then they discuss the requirements for that exchange. Of course, there will still be rules and it will be monitored to make sure everyone is behaving appropriately, but it will be a free club. No weekly assignments. No having to request extensions or stick to a certain, fixed timeframe. It feels less intimidating, and I hope people will be more willing to join. It also involves less admin for me, once it's all set up.

Do let me know your thoughts! It will exist, but it's exact nature is subject to change. I'll be posting a similar announcement in the book club, to make sure people see it.

Thanks! I hope all goes well!

Action/Adventure results are out!

Thank you to @MandiAustin for being the clearest judge so far, with all results and reviews at once. You're amazing! :)

Also, quite nicely, all of the books placed. So everyone is nearly equally awesome.

Congratulations to you all - Death Train by @SamanthaLinares3 and Time Out by @harlowwinters and The Seventh Assassin by @Quatainia in joint third place, Wolf Child by @TheNorthernEagle in second place and Tales of the Inglorious Brotherhood by @MathiasCavanaugh in first place, with an astonishing score! Well done everyone!

I'll be posting your reviews now, in fact, along with Poetry and a couple of the Romance reviews.

And the Fantasy results are still in the works. Give me another week, and I'll try to have them for you. Sorry folks. Running an awards was more hectic than I realised. The next competition we hold should hopefully run a lot smoother. Still, you've done very well to get the scores you did!

@FurAndFeathers Thank you! Honoured to have won a place! :D

I'm finished with the Animal Fiction judging! Five wonderful books, honestly. You all made my job very difficult by being very talented.

However, I did have to order you. Congratulations to @SmokeandOranges with Frost on the Grasslands in third place, @AmberLynnWriter with The Dragon Queen's Heir in second place, and @Sandcat- with Ouroboros in first place. Amazing books. I also have to give honourable mentions to @jessicagoyette with To Catch A Glimpse and @Yummychocochick with Leonardo.

Your reviews will be coming soon! I'm quite looking forwards to writing them, actually. But first, I must sort the Fantasy results. Stay tuned.

@FurAndFeathers Thank you! ^_^ And congrats to the winners!

Poetry results are out!

Thank you to @likemealfa for judging what would have been the most difficult genre for me to judge. Clear and helpful results, with a very tight set. Could not have done it without you, honestly.

Congratulations to the winners - @oceanicluna with Bottles in the Ocean and @thekawaiiklutz with The Endless Saga in third place, @BitchThatsMe with Love And Loss and @loverdolphin57 with The Things I Never Said Before in second place, and finally an extra-special round of applause for @adithi24 with Friendship 101 in first place. You've done excellently to come out on top!

You'll be getting your stickers by PM in a moment, and your reviews later on in a separate chapter. More results will be coming soon, hopefully!

There we go. I've posted the results I have so far in the book. The chapter will be continually updated as I get more results in.

Firstly, thank you to my two Romance judges, @ElmaSamardzic and @LateNightDelights . The most reliable judges, who've helped me out enormously. You've been amazing.

Congratulations to the winners - @MandiAustin with The Playgirl in third place, @kundaimanyati with The Acting CEO and @2204491311w with To You, My Beloved in joint second place, and finally a massive well done to @lady-barbie13 with A Golden Lie in first place - with an incredible score!

Secondly, thank you to my Science Fiction judge, @Orangutan101 - another helpful and reliable judge. Fantastic.

Congratulations to the winners of that genre - @VincentJSomers with OUTWORLD: Sun Dogs in third place, @Sandcat- with Ouroboros in second place, and finally a huge well done to @jessicagoyette with To Catch A Glimpse in first place!

You'll be getting your stickers by PM shortly, and your reviews fairly soon in a separate chapter. You've all done great! To everyone, thank you for participating, and please hang around for any other contests we might hold.
