@FlashficCommunity Probably Jack Reacher, because I mean who wouldn't want to be THAT badass for 24 hours?!
#QuestionOfTheWeek Have you ever read a book that made you want to immediately start writing?
@FlashficCommunity It may seem strange, but bad "romance" inspires me. Toxic, abusive, or just plain lust-filled with no emotional connection—I don't enjoy reading it, but whenever I encounter it in judging and reviewing, that inspires me to write healthy romance with true emotional connections that's based on consent and respect.
Some books don’t just inspire ,they ignite. Like they reach inside you, pull something raw to the surface, and suddenly you have to write.
#QuestionOfTheWeek What’s the most memorable piece of reader feedback you’ve ever received?
@FlashficCommunity I got a lengthy comment from a trauma survivor about how reading one of my stories has helped her in the healing process, and that just floored me. I wanted to portray trauma and PTSD in a realistic light to educate people who don't understand, but I never thought about it helping somebody who's been there. I actually worried about it triggering people, hence the very lengthy list of content/trigger warnings I always include at the beginning of all my stories.
