I write fantasy and science fiction. I have tried to write other stuff, but it seems I suck at it. Also, is not like I have a choice in what to write; what comes, comes. In both genres I always find myself weaving in mythological themes. The fantasy I write tends to be set in some version of the real world and to have dark elements in it. My science fiction is more hopeful, and I usually stick pretty close to actual science. Very often an element of my science fiction will be to find a way in which a myth could have a scientific basis.

I hope you enjoy what I write at least half as much as I enjoy writing it. Please feel free to comment, correct and suggest as much as you like. I learn a lot from my readers. The most helpful way to comment is to point out exactly what is wrong, tell me how you think I can fix it and, if possible, give me an example of what a good solution would look like.

I have a day job so it's hard for me to do much here, that is why you will not see me reading much stuff. However, I am always willing to help fellow authors by exchanging crits. If you want me to look at your story please leave me some useful comments on one of mine and give me a link to yours. I cannot promise I will always be able to do this, but I'll try to reciprocate like for like.

I also know quite a bit about neuroscience, biology and medicine, so if you need to consult with anyone on those topics, send me a message with your questions.

Cheers,
