          I hope you don't mind me posting here, but I just started writing my first serious book with a publishing deal. My name is Leyla, and I saw some of your helpful comments on other people's books. I was wondering if you would be able to check out my book and leave your thoughts and feedback?           For some context: I'm writing a fantasy book with underlying romance, taking inspiriation from the works of SJM. To keep myself accountable and hopefully meet a community of writers, I decided to upload my first draft as I write it onto Wattpad (but don't worry, it's pretty damn grammatically correct). 
          
          "A Queen's Curse" is the first book in a duology (set to be published in May 2025) about an orphan on the streets of New York who finds out she's Fae. . . and a crucial figure in a war she didn't even know was happening. Hello readers,
          
          Thank you for your patience. I've been silent for quite some time. Unfortunately, I've recently learned that I carry the gene that made my father ill. For now, the gene is likely not active in me, but once it activates, there's no medication to stop it, only to slow its progression, making it a life-extending drug. It's a devastating blow, and I needed quite some time to process this news. I still do.
          
          However, I do want to continue with my story. In a week, I'll have a two-week vacation, during which I'll resume working on my story.
