What the title says and I can't put it in my Rainbow Quest aus because I forgot this series existed when I created that book. :<

Sabre the leader of the code jumpers, finds old ruined books of the past. It's his job to translate these books in secret at the same time fighting to protect the Steves. What secrets are hidden in these old languages and how will the young leader react to what the past has to offer. The past has tales long forgotten, by all those who live. With legends of old, all to guide those who live in the future. As the struggle of the steves slowly leaks into the struggle of the Code Jumpers.

We all know the tale, Light gets separated into two beings by the First Curse, meets the Aquamarines, has a valiant battle against the Soul Eater, and still ends up being Void's enemy. But... What if the roles were reversed? What if the First Curse was a general in the past, led attacks against the Darkness he knew, fought to the end for Elemental, and ended up in a different universe - forced to protect himself? This story follows the POV of Gift, an obsidian being with great powers that helped Oliver, the one who came to his world and helped all of the Steves. Of course, we'll see a couple other POVs as well. Enjoy! --- The original storylines belong to FavreMySabre for Rainbow quest and InfiniteRinzler for Ruined Reality. All I've done was swap roles around and change a couple of pasts to match the plot-line. What will happen if Time, Dark and Sabre finished fighting off the darkness and walk in the forest to meet their best friend green therapist, thera talk to them about a village that would love to have the three to stay but they never knew that the village was up to something that will make their lives horrible mostly to our dear hero Sabre find out wait they would do.

Maybe some Steves think that The First Curse was the only one of his kind... they would be wrong. In the beginning, there wasn't a singular curse, but several, all different and unique in their own way. But over time The First Curse got tired of them and how they showed off their abilities. Some were even HELPING the ones they considered enemies. Disgraceful. And, so, The First Curse put an end to them all... or so he thought. He knows two escaped his slaughter and while he's not sure where they are, he's confident he'll find them and finish them off once and for all with time. All he has to do is wait. Light's secrets are ones that he's not all too keen on sharing, but when things get found out the hard way, he's soon left with no other options but to tell the story of his old universe. With it comes trials and tests to prove if he's really worth trusting again, all while their foes rise up upon hearing these new weaknesses of his. And when the First Curse gets involved, things get just that much worse. ~~~ Yellow Steve with a Leather Chest Plate, now going by the name of Noah, is a friendly Steve who is protective when it comes to those he cares for. One day while on patrol, Noah comes across a strange rift with his small group of guards and, sensing one of his closest friends in danger, takes the risk and jumps through without a second thought. Now, lost in this ruined reality, he searches for his friend but quickly realizes that no one can be trusted. (This is a rewrite of a previous Fanfic, with some changes too) Humans once existed in the realm, but one day, a human got curious and created a way to turn a human into a steve. It was just pure simple curiousity about what it would be like be a steve. But it had grave consequences for the other humans in the realm, as steves, who did not like the humans, found out about this spell, and used it on others, making it be considered a curse by those who were unwilling, and the original creator of it, who had just wanted to feed her curiousity about steves. Eventually, the leaders got together and banned the spell from ever being used again, destroying every scroll where someone may have written it down, sadly, they could never find the original, for it had been stored away, and eventually its memory was lost to time by most. But there were few that remembered, those were the humans turned steves, and... The First Curse. For he, who is the embodiment of the curse of power, has the power to curse others and he learned of the spell turned curse and gained its power, making it his.

"The Pauses last Forever and the Loops shorten my life" Sabre has been on this loop for millions of years as well as the pauses. With Each Loop he grows weaker as is life force is drained. If he wants to continue to live he must break the fault in the Pauses and the Loop. He must push past his limits to find the fault. To find the First Curse. To find the strength he needs to break free of the loop. To break the loop and to free this world from forever repeating itself. To go back to the first Timline
