(This is a continuation of the rewrite of Kind Darkness, cause I didn't feel satisfied with the ending, so now I'm making a fanfic series!) The darkness and steves have become friends. But, that doesn't mean everything is done just yet. The steves have lived seperate for generations. hii!!! I've recently been getting into Rainbow Quest again and its made me spiral into rewatching every single sabre steve series on his channel, so im writing oneshots i came up with!! The author notes in chapter will NOT be too seriously written as this is mostly just for me but thats ok. Ok? In the beginning, there wasn't a singular curse, but several, all different and unique in their own way. But over time The First Curse got tired of them and how they showed off their abilities. Some were even HELPING the ones they considered enemies. Disgraceful. And, so, The First Curse put an end to them all... or so he thought. He knows two escaped his slaughter and while he's not sure where they are, he's confident he'll find them and finish them off once and for all with time. All he has to do is wait. Sabre the leader of the code jumpers, finds old ruined books of the past. It's his job to translate these books in secret at the same time fighting to protect the Steves. What secrets are hidden in these old languages and how will the young leader react to what the past has to offer. The past has tales long forgotten, by all those who live. With legends of old, all to guide those who live in the future. As the struggle of the steves slowly leaks into the struggle of the Code Jumpers.

Blood. It ran rivers down his hands, staring in horror at his actions, heart beating quicker than even he could using his own powers. Exciting. Beautiful. Empowering. His life was left to the fates, judgement shall be passed by actions, weither he keep his loyalty to the crown, or to the curious little angel ripping apart the walls of his hellish domain. Light, the false hero of this world, had failed the Leaders for the last time. After Soren's death and Cliff's infection by the Darkness, the whole Kingdom became weary and hostile towards Light, some even going as far as physically attacking him to keep him away. He was being seen as a bad omen and it was putting his, and others, lives in danger. It was then that the Leaders made a hard decision, asking Light to step down for the sake of everyone. Of course, Light didn't hesitate and was more than willing, but after the fact and a near death experience, several people disagreed with the Leader's decision, some of which including his two best friends and the man who helped raise him in this cruel world. (Yes, another RR Fanfic, because I'm in the mood!)

We all know the tale, Light gets separated into two beings by the First Curse, meets the Aquamarines, has a valiant battle against the Soul Eater, and still ends up being Void's enemy. But... What if the roles were reversed? What if the First Curse was a general in the past, led attacks against the Darkness he knew, fought to the end for Elemental, and ended up in a different universe - forced to protect himself? This story follows the POV of Gift, an obsidian being with great powers that helped Oliver, the one who came to his world and helped all of the Steves. All I've done was swap roles around and change a couple of pasts to match the plot-line. What would happened if the steves and the players are all in a group chat some how? Welp, now we know, because we all are gonna see the chaos that will happen. Although, they won't always be on a group chat, they still wonder around in the world.

Sequel to "Still Around". I have lost nearly all motivation to write but this is kinda not abandoned as of 2025. I have begun working on a rewrite. Hopefully it will be out eventually.
