Merlin's magic is revealed on a hunting trip with Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Merlin is chained but a storm strikes and the King and his knights are forced to camp out in a cave with their prisoner. Arthur doesn't take it well and Merlin pays the price. What happens when destiny breaks? Who's going to fix it? Eventual Mergana.

As per usual Merlin, Arthur and the gang get captured. But when things are looking grim, will Merlin get them out.

When both Gwen and Merlin witness another accident caused by Morgana's magic, there is no more denying. Despite Gaius' strong advice against it, Merlin decides to help Morgana and tell her and Gwen about his magic. Meanwhile, Arthur follows Merlin to Morgana's chambers to inform him that he needs to let her rest and should absolutely not be bringing her flowers. Because she needs to rest. No other reason of course. Nope. Set in the episode 2x03 The Nightmare Begins.

What if Merlin gave Arthur different advice and in turn Arthur made a different choice in S5E5: The Disir. Magic would have become accepted in Camelot early in season 5 and changed the entire course of the show. When Arthur discover Merlin's magic what will he do? This is a fan fiction where Merlin's magic is reveled to Arthur and he flees Camelot. Merlin finds a companion and faces many difficulties while he basically exiled himself. During his exile, he has to make a difficult decision. Will he give in to temptation and use his magic for evil, just like everyone thinks warlocks do or will he stay the same old Merlin that everyone loves? Arthur on the other hand is struggling on whether or not magic is actually bad and how he reacted to Merlin's magic. Not a ship fic, but if you want to view it that way go ahead. I started this when I was 13, and I'm positive my grammar has gotten way worse.

When Merlin saves Arthur from falling to his doom with magic, Arthur is furious. Unable to kill him, the king banishes Merlin from the land and the young warlock leaves, abandoning his destiny. Morgana learns of all of this and decides that this is her time to attack. Camelot will be defenseless without Emrys. Can Merlin forgive his friends in time to save Albion and his destiny?

Warning: Character death. Gaius' death at the hands of Morgana drives Merlin over the edge. Giving up destiny he confronts Morgana and she is forced to rethink her decisions regarding Camelot or else there will be no Camelot left to take. Set somewhere in season 3.

Set in season 5 episode 9, things go slightly wrong, in which Merlin is caught crossdressing and Arthur actually has half a brain. One-shot. Might make into a two shot. Morgana has been having nightmares. She's starting to think that she might have magic. When she tells Merlin about it he decides not to hide his magic from her anymore. When Morgause comes to Camelot, Morgana has to choose between her home in Camelot and her freedom. Merlin worries about Morgana. When Morgana seeks his help deciding her future, Merlin think's she's gone mad. He can't leave Camelot, he can't leave the man he loves. But what happens when Arthur finds out about Merlins magic? Arthur finds out about Merlin's Magic. he doesn't know what else to do and banishes Merlin, much to his friend's chagrin. Merlin is greeted by some old friends who help him become the powerful warlock he is meant to be while providing refuge for all magic beings.

Merlin has always looked out for Arthur, no matter what. But at what cost? Because of his destiny he has given up almost everyone he holds dear to him to ensure that Albion is created. And whilst seeing Arthur succeed is a reward in and of itself, all that Merlin has gone through to get Arthur on the throne of Camelot is starting to catch up with him.

Merlin ends up getting hurt and is eventually captured by Morgana. Originally, she plans to use him to kill Arthur. However, what would happen if she were to see his scars? What if she were the one to discover that there's more to Merlin than meets the eye? How will she react when she finds out that Merlin is more that just a servant? ***** So like I said before this starts out with like the first 5 minutes of A Servant of Two Masters. If you have seen the scars type of stories before, this is a little bit like that. The difference is, it's Morgana that sees his scars first, which sparks some interesting conversations.
