Orion Swan is in the middle of her senior year of high school, and I know some people feel off-put by Carlisle fanfics where the character is still in high school. I totally understand this, but would argue it's no different than Bella and Edward, who's over 100 lol. If it's not your cup of tea, totally get it, and I'd advise you find a different fic. The story vaguely follows the movie plot, but not actually all of it. I took scenes from the movie and reimagined them, building my own version of the story upon those scenes. I don't focus on Bella and Edward, here they are only a sort of side-plot. I took a more psychologically grounded approach to the movies and deviated to a different direction, but still using the original plot.
