*Misoka's POV*I awoke to the swaying of a boat. I raised my head groggily.
"Where am I?"
"Just Relax Misaki-chan..." A familiar voice called out. It was Hisoka, Who was sitting besides me. I looked around, and noticed something peculiar.
"Psssst... Hisoka~" I whispered. "Why have most people taken off their name tags?"
"Oh...That's right." With that, he handed me a blank card with a seal on it, and explained to me the rules of the fourth phase. I thought about this for a moment, then threw my card overboard.
"Well, since most people have hidden their ID tags already, there's no point in knowing the name of my target. All I need is three additional points yea?" Hisoka nodded. I cracked my knuckles.
"Time to have some fun~"
~~~~~Arrival~~~~~~~
"Thanks for your patience everyone!" The cherry guide called out, "We've finally arrived at Zevil Island!" I stretched while she continued talking about the order of getting off the boat, and how we had to wait two minutes after each person gets off. I groaned, I hated to wait.
"You will stay on this Island for exactly one week." I grinned at that, much more time to explore the island!
"All right then, the first person may start!" announced the hostess as she lifted her hand up.
"Well, seems I'm first," Hisoka said with a smirk. "See you on the other side Misaki-chan."
I threw him a sarcastic smile. "Yeah yeah whatever. Save me a spot for napping, Hisoka-chan."
~~~~~Turn~~~~~~
Finally! My turn to get off the boat. I walked through the forest and ventured deep into the forest. I could feel eyes staring at me. They were a group that I did not know.I counted five... no six presences. I smirked. Getting my points is so easy when they literally feed it to me. I continued along the path, away from the docking station. The "hidden" group followed me "stealthily." Finally, we reached a clearing. I walked to the center and yawned, then laid down and pretended to take a nap.
"Huhuhu." One of them laughed. "This is far too easy." He leaped out of his cover and lunged at me. I disappeared in a flash and reappeared above him. I landed on his shoulders and twisted his head until I heard his neck pop. The body fell forward, dead. I back-flipped into a standing position.
"Well?" I smirked at my attackers. "Who's next?" The remaining five roared in outrage and charged at me. I laughed. Summoning my Nodachi, I spun in a circle. A flash of red, and four of the five lay dead at my feet. I looked up swiftly. The last remaining attacker was a woman about 20.
"So the rumors are true." She said, looking at me with hatred in her eyes. "The demon of purgatory has returned."
I stared at her with a puzzled expression.
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
She scoffed, clearly not buying into my ignorance. "Don't try acting dumb, Demon. How could you forget how you annihilated all three clans of the bandits league? You took over a million lives!"
I remembered my flashback. "Ooooh, that." I smirked, "Well then maybe they shouldn't have attacked the Kurtas. B*tch"
She glared at me. "You admit your crimes! Justice shall be served, Hell spawn!!!" With a roar, she charged at me. I dodged her sword, but did not see her needle. It sliced my arm and droplets of blood ran down. My knees turned to jelly.
"What have you done?" I asked the woman.
"My needles were supposed to be an instant kill..." The woman murmured under her breath. "Curse it! Guess I'll just have to end your miserable existence myself!"
She charged at me again, but I could not move to defend myself. Suddenly, Kurapika jumped out of the trees and blocked her attack. Why does this seem so familiar? Kurapika's eyes turned scarlet, and he killed the woman. He turned around to steady me, and I fell into his arms. When we came into contact, both of us were sent reeling as another flashback occurred.

~~Flash Back~~
*Tsubasa POV*
"HOW. DARE. THEY!!!!!" I roared, and crumpled the note that the Demon Purgers sent. They had abducted my one true love, Akihiko, and was holding him ransom at Phoenix Hill. I growled, they would not live to see the light of day!!! Turning in the direction of Phoenix Hill, I ran there full speed. It was almost halfway across the world, and I'm pretty sure I left a fire trail behind me, but nobody threatens the one I love most. Nobody.
"Akihiko!!!!" I yelled when I reached the temple. "I'm here! Where are you my love??"
I pushed the door to the temple open. It was empty, dust hung everywhere. I noticed a clean spot along the floorboards, and I dug it open. It was a narrow passage that led deep into the ground. I sensed Akihiko... They're definitely keeping him here. I gathered up my skirts and ventured down, walking for god know how long. Finally, I reached a set of iron doors. They weighed about 100 pounds each but I shoved them easily aside.
"Hiko!!!!" I yelled. Akihiko was tied up. His face was bloodied, and his ankles and wrists were raw and red from the chains that bound him. He looked up at my voice, his one eye blazing scarlet.
"Tsubasa! No! Don't come any closer!" He yelled, struggling against his chains.
"No!" I said weakly, "Please... Hiko... let me help you." I reached out with my hand, intending to caress his cheek. That single contact with his skin sent me on my knees. It was as if his entire body was coated with a poison designed specifically for me.
"Kukuku..." I managed to turn my head and see who was laughing. I gasped, or tried to. It was the traitor. How was he still alive??
"You must be wondering how I'm still alive." He smirked. "Let me tell you, life does give you extra chances when you're a demon..."
"You...you sold your soul... your clan to the devil?" I gasped out. It was getting difficult to breathe. "For what???"
He laughed manically. "Power, My lady. Power to break free this blood curse."
"This blood bond is the only good thing that happened to the Kurta Clan!" Akihiko yelled at the traitor. He simply scoffed.
"Silence, half-blood. You know nothing of our ways." Turning back to me, he smiled, a sick perverted creepy smile. "Now now, my lady, do not fear. I am not yet powerful enough to kill you. Oh no, it seems that Lucifer-sama himself is incapable of killing you. So for now, I'll pass upon you my judgment. Eternal Slumber!" He cackled again.
"Playing god doesn't make you one..." I whispered weakly.
"Well, you wouldn't know." He laughed again. "After all, you were banished the day you were born. Isn't that right, M'lady?" I did not reply. My tongue had stopped working.
"Now then, goodbye." The bastard gathered his nen, a sick and evil purple colour. It was concentrated into a single black orb. As it fired at me, time seemed to slow down.
