Chapter 33: Special Delivery!

The new FT chapter killed me like literally, be at my funeral guys🎀
Finally time to write for nalu! I'm pretty sure everyone was waiting ^^

A couple weeks went by, Meredy told Jellal to stay as long as he wanted to because she really needed a vacation, so he did.

It was a rather peaceful day at the guild, Natsu was looking at the board for a job while everyone was sitting around a table.
"Levy, Truth or dare?" Lucy asked.
"Uhm..truth!" She replied
"How long have you had a crush on Gajeel?"
"It kinda started when he offered to be my S-Class exam partner..and when he protected me on the island" Levy blushed as Gajeel put his muscular arm over her shoulder, giving off his signature laugh.
"Ok, Lucy..Truth or Dare" Levy asked as the blonde put her index on her chin.
"Truth"
"Ok who do you lik-" Levy was cut off by a man who walked in with a bouquet of flowers.
"Excuse me, is there a Miss Lucy Heartfilia here?" the man asked, hiding his face under a hat.
"That would be me!" Lucy got up and walked over to him.

"You have a special delivery" he held the flowers out for her an she slowly took them.
"R-really? From who?" She looked at the flowers.
They were bright blue roses that gave off a delightful scent.
"The man didn't say, he just told me to give them to you..farewell" the man hurried out, leaving Lucy to examine the flowers.

"Luce, those flowers smell horrible" Natsu said covering his nose with his hand.
"Yea Bunny Girl, they smell really bad" Gajeel also covered his nose.
Lucy sniffed the flowers and to her it smelt like a rosy vanilla.
"You guys are just jealous that I got flowers and you didn't! I'm going home to put these in a vase" Lucy held the flowers to her chest as she hurried off home.

As she got home, she quickly found a white vase to put her flowers in.
'I wonder who gave me these' she thought as she placed the vase in front of her, sitting down at a table in the process.
The flowers scent made entrance to her nose quickly, making Lucy relax.
She still thought it was strange that Natsu and Gajeel thought the flowers smelt horrible but she brushed it off.
Lucy was feeling really relaxed so she thought she would take a nap.
She also thought that her idiotic pink haired best friend would probably break into her house so she went to make him a plate of food.
When she came back from making food, her head started to feel like it was spinning.
She immediately dropped the plate that was in her hands.
When the plate hit the ground, it shattered everywhere.
"That was so weird" Lucy sighed and rubbed her head.
The feeling came back, making Lucy fall down in an instant.
Her hand came down, knocking the flowers off the table.
The vase shattered, also water and flowers flying everywhere.
She curled up on the ground, finding out it was hard to move her body.
Her vision started getting fuzzy as she notice a small card attached to one of the flowers.
She reached out and grabbed it with her shaking hand.
It read:

"You deserve this"

Her vision went black as she dozed off.

*NATSU'S POV*

It had been a normal day for Natsu, just a typical 'Fighting-Gray' day.
He was heading over to Lucy's to check on her.
Curiosity hit him, thinking about who would send flowers to her.
He hopped on her window sill and lifted up her window.
"Hey Luce" he called out.
The strange scent that he smelled off Lucy's flowers was very strong.
It made him gag and cover his nose.
"You should get rid of those flowers" he jumped down from the window and looked around her room.
When he couldn't find her, he checked the bathroom.
She wasn't there either.
"Lucy?" He called out and waited for a respond.
When she didn't respond he tried to smell her out but the scent of the flowers covered her scent.
"Natsu? Are you in here?" Happy called out as he flew into Lucy's apartment.
"Yeah, help me search for Luce"
"Aye sir!"
Natsu continued to look in her room until he heard happy call out.
"Natsu! I found Lushi!"
Natsu sighed in relief as he went into the kitchen where Happy was.
What he saw shocked him.

Lucy was laying face down on the ground.
Glass was shattered everywhere, giving her a few cuts.
She had a white card in her hand that read:

"You deserve this"
