I was sitting in the lab waiting for my new gadgets. "How exactly am I supposed to use these?"

"Well this like an electric wire that shoots people from a far" my father said with a smile

"So pretty much spider man, thwip thwip" I put my middle fingers down and flicked my wrist to emphasize my point.

My father though for a moment "You're right, man if it wasn't for your super hero smarts you will look like a copy cat"

Then my mom came to me. "How about a gadget that can control the weather like the storms and lighting" she grinned

"Isn't that like Storm from the X-men and Thor combined?" I was reaching into my memory, "Thor controls lightning from the sky but can't steal electricity like I can"

"I don't really need to control the weather. I control the electricity on my own." I lifted my fist into the air and the light flickered. "I guess I don't have control of my powers."

An even bigger smile was brought to her lips. Nova came in with Spider-Man behind him "Riley I heard that thwip thwip comment"

I blush in embarrassment "It was just to make a point" Nova laughed and grabbed a watch from the table.

"I'll see you guys around." He left without another word

"She has every comic book of the x men and the Avengers, and you too Spider-Man"

"I only like the comics. Meeting you guys in real life was kind of underwhelming." I teased

"Oh yeah? That hurt a bit actually."

"I was kidding. I was kidding."

"Oh!" My mom yelled. "Tyler... Dropped by to visit. He's in the next room, before he left the house he took something. Could you go find him?"

"Who the hell is Tyler?"

My parents looked at each other. "You don't remember Ty? Your little cousin? We went to his house about two months ago."

Why can't I remember his face...
