Diego POV
"Wow. I cant believe its finally June. Its June first everybody." I yelled, running through the hallway. Maddie looked horrified, but I was so happy. So many things were happening this month.
1. Our baby is due in several days. I told Maddie she shouldn't worry about school until after the baby is born. She still has to come after the baby is born, but she gets three school days afterwards and the lienence of the teachers.
2. Prom. Maddie doesn't want to go since our baby will be born before then and she wants to spend time with Rosie Sofía. But I convinced her to go, that it'll be fun.
3. Graduation. We'll finally be free of this place. Goodbye textbooks (for now at least) and hello summer sun. Its going to be great. The beach. With Maddie and our baby. Awesome. I can already picture Rose. Shes beautiful.
Anyways, Maddie looked kind of pale. Then there was a huge puddle underneath her. Thank God its a Friday. But wait. Maddie's in labor. We have to get to the hospital fast.
I ran over to Maddie and bridal style carried her out of the building and into my car, Jandi, Demma, and Tomara following behind us.
At the hospital, I was panicking. In a few short hours, I would be a father. The nurses were prepping Maddie for childbirth.
I went outside of the room for a minute. I needed a drink. I got a sip at the nearest water fountain.
I went back into the room.
Maddie POV
"Okay Mrs. Rueda, its time to push the baby's head out. On 3...2...1...and stop pushing, we need to clean the baby's head."
The nurses cleaned Rosie's head. I was squezzing Diego's hand so hard it must be broken. But he was just smiling at me.
"Its going to be okay Maddie. We're almost there." Diego encouraged.
"Okay Mrs. Rueda...you need to push your baby the rest of the way out. Okay. One big push and its all done. All done. We'll clean and wrap your baby up in a blanket, clean you up, and everything will be okay. Just one more push. PUSH!!!!!"
I pushed as hard as I could. I couldn't see my baby due to the blanket, but I knew she was out. All that pain was worth it.
The doctors cleaned Rosie up, and she was crying. A nurse wrapped her in a blanket before handing her to Diego.
"She's beautiful Maddie. Wonderful. Perfect. And we created her."
"She's amazing. Can I hold her?" I asked and Diego handed Rosie to me. She was still crying, but that was to be expected.
"I have to go tell everybody the good news Mads, but I will be right back, promise." Diego said, kissing my forehead.
My baby was born.
Jax POV
"Well shes here. Rosie Sofía Rueda has been born." Diego came out into the waiting room, screaming as loud as he could. The rest of us stood up, congradulating him.
"Congrats Diego." Emma said, hugging him.
"Awesome dude." I said giving Diego a good pat on the back.
"Do we have to go back to school today." Andi asked and we all turned towards her. "What. Im just curious."
"No." Samara answered.
"This is great. One baby down, two to go." Daniel said.
"This is wonderful, isn't it." Tony said.
"Who's eyes does she have." Emma asked.
"Rosie has Maddies eyes. I am so happy." Diego said, jumping up and down excited.
"Lets go. The nurse said Maddie and Rosie can have visitors now, lets go." I said after talking to a nurse for a minute since Diego was too perky to.
