Wendy's POV
This place is wonderful. I can't believe in all my life I've been living here in Gravity Falls and I haven't seen this place before.
Only the sound of birds are heard and everything is peaceful. It's great. I sat down as I saw a picnic blanket and I assume that Dipper really put a lot of effort on this date. I didn't really want this kinds of date but I think I'll try this for a change but only for him.
I looked at Dipper as he pulls out something from his vest. I wonder what's that he's touching. A ring perhaps?
No Wendy what are you thinking? Maybe that's a bit too far shut up brain.
He pulls a blue shining fragile object from his vest. It's the crytal.
"It's the crystal!" I exclaimed. I guess I kinda forgot that I asked him to bring it. Wow! I can't believe he remembers. He really listens to my words. Or maybe I just forget things a lot.
"Yeah. It will be a bummer if we didn't use it's power." He gives me a smirk which is addition on his good looks. Say what?
"So me first!" He blurted, looking excited.
"Who is the author of the journals?" He asked the crystal and then the crystal started glowing. Then I heard some sort of female voice at the crystal.
"That is most classified but however, an old Gravity Falls resident named Old ManGucket is involved with that." The crystal answered in a phrase. And really! That old guy is related to the author of the journals that has almost all the answers of the mysteries lying here in Gravity Falls. What?!
"What?!" He exclaimed. "I got to investigate that later but for now.."
"What?" I say confused.
What does he mean for now. For now what?
"Will me and Wendy have a good future together?" He asked. What?
"You will have a good future with the love of your life. I predict that things will go as planned and I also predict that something great will happen later." The talking crystal explained. And oh. So that's what he meant by for now. I predict that things will get cheezy.
I blushed at what the crystal said. What future is it talking about? Marriage? Kids?
Okay Wendy you need to stop!
"See Wendy. Told you Robbie isn't the one. If we work things out, we will be happy together. Forever."
"You're right. This is cheezy." I joked and he laughed.
"I am not hungry. We ate nachos earlier and I think I'm already full."
"Okay. There's still one question left for the crystal. Wanna ask something?" I already know what to ask for.
"W-Why would Robbie left me if he was trying to get Dipper out of the way and was desperate of getting me back?" I stuttered and hesitate at first but I know I have to ask it somehow. I just don't understand.
"Robbie got some issues. Social issues. He's got no friends and because of you, he got your gang as his friends. He used you but he never loved you Wendy. And that's why he is so desperate to get you back."
As I heard every word that he said, that explains everything. He never loved me and he was just bullying Dipper because he wants to. He kissed Tambry because he wants to. He used me because he wants to. I can't believe him.
And I loved that player. And the truth is he never loved me. Tears dropped from my eyes not intentionally.
"Hey. Don't cry." Dipper said with sympathy. Then he wiped my tears with his thumbs.
"You shouldn't cry because of that jerk. You should not."
"Since you don't want a picnic, why should we go swimming?"
"Huh?" Spoke too soon. Unexpected, he pushed me to the cold lake by the waterfall. Then he jumped as well, it was cold.
"Hey!" I exclaimed and he just laughed.
Then he cupped my face. I leaned and went for a kiss. It's not like our unexpected first kiss. No. It's something more meaningful.
This is the best date ever.
