It's finally here.

This fanfiction has finally come to an end, and it couldn't be more bittersweet. I must have started writing this fic about three years ago? I was 13, a typical teenager absolutely obsessed with vocaloid (and I still am, that hasn't changed!), though little did I know I was about to endure one of the hardest challenges life has thrown at me up to date.

Upon starting this fanfiction, I entered an extremely dark place. I was diagnosed with clinical depression, I felt low everyday. And though I'm so, so much better now, these thoughts and feelings still come to haunt me sometimes.

However, this fanfiction provided me with a sense of comfort. I could express myself through my writing, and not once have I been judged for my — sometimes awfully cringey — writing. We've built up a small, quaint community, and I couldn't be happier. I couldn't be more proud of that. You guys as readers have done me wonders you can't imagine — and I only have you to thank for that. Yes, YOU.

Thank you for sticking by me through this journey. Thank you for letting me express myself without judging me. Thank you for allowing me to express my undying love for this ship; Miku and Luka are my absolute favourite ship, and it makes me so happy to interact with people who like them just as much as I do.

The only question is... what now? This fic has come to an end, but has my account, too?

No, of course not. I love writing, and I love vocaloid — fanfictions are heavily judged sometimes within the writing community, but I love writing about characters who mean the world to me. I love how vocaloids are blank canvases, and you can project them in any way you want. I love the creative freedom it comes with, and I want to keep providing for you guys as long as I can, and want to.

As I have mentioned several times before, I will be starting up my other Miku x Luka fic; it's called Re:VERSE, and if you're reading this, that most likely means the first chapter is published and ready to read!
