Who hurt my baby like that?

Diana was glad she meet her. She was happy for the girl that stood in that moment rambling in front of her. Her cute smile, brighter than the light in the room. Her eyes sparkling as she spoke about how a cat meowed back at her, ealier that evening. And how it let her pat his head. Diana was livestruck with that adorable brunette. But all of a sudden, the girl glanced at her, and hee smile faded.

- I'm sorry for rambling - She mumble, looking away from the blonde.

Noo, no! Who ever said that!? Diana thought before her smile faltered a bit.

- Is alright, I love hearing you - The blonde reassured with a genuine smile, but the expression the brunette gave her left her confused.

Akko looked at her. Her expression completely blank, as if she didn't knew what to say. As if that was the first time someone said that. After a minute like that, she let a small smile appearing on her face, her eyes crystallizing. She didn't said anything. Instead, she sat beside the blonde and closed her eyes hugging her.

Diana was left dumbfounded, and feeling uneasy about it. But still didn't said anything. She hugged the girl, and fell asleep in an instant.

A few days later, they were walking around downtown, on a date. Before passing by an aquarium, which only got the brunette excited. But as soon as it came, and she was about to touch the blonde. She hesitated and stopped midway, letting her hand down.

- I'm sorry - Akko once again apologized.

What the... What just happened? Diana said in confusion.

- Babe, Do you want to go? - Diana asked, since she notice the whole small scene in front of her. Yet she couldn't figure why the girl had such behavior.

Akko looked at it, a sad expression on her face, and shook her head - No, I'll go anywhere you want - She said sadly.

Diana frowned, and let out a sigh - Baby, you can pick a place, if you wish to go, we can go - She reassured, and once again, that same uneasy smile appeared on the brunette's face. Thou, she still said no.

Diana, being the girl she was, she pulled the brunette to the aquarium. Wanting to see that cute smile she adored.

The day after, they were in the living room, and Diana was actually doning some homework. Before Akko, wiyhout noticing the paper work, jumped on the girl and started giving her a kiss on the cheek. She was happier than usual and started talkimg about how she got an A in an essay. But once again, she stopped talking, once her eyes landed on the paper.

- You are busy... - Akko whispered to herself - I'm really sorry for bothering you, I'll leave - She cracked out, standing from the couch and starting to walk away.

Oh... Oh my gosh! Who the fuck told her she was a bother? My sweet baby! Who hurt such a sweet girl like that!? Diana thought as she realized the brunette's behavier, the way she would apologize about everything. About talking, about wanting attention, about wanting something. Heck! She even apologized for standing near her once!

- Akko, babe - Diana said softly, while extending her arms - Come here - She said, her eyes on the brunette; expectantly and sweet.

Akko hesitated befoee closing the distance, and sitting backwards om the girl's lap. Diana hugged her from behind, one arm snaking around her chest, and the other one around her waist. She pulled her as close as she could, trying to pass all the warm and love she felt for her. She moved her head a bit, as it was resting over her shoulder.

- Look, baby, I do not know the person who was before me. And I don't really understand what could 'it' have said to you, for you to be apologizing so much - She whined a bit - But I don't care what that 'thing' said, nor I will let you believe it - She reassured - Your voice is lovely, and I love your rambling. That way your eyes lit up when you talk about everything, even the smallest thing. The way that cute smile shines brighter than the sun. I love it. You do not have to apologize for asking my attention, nor wanting to go some place. You are my girl, I am bound to give you all the attention you want, or anything you ask for. Heck, I'll even clear my schedule, if you asked me too. Because I'm your girlfriend, and you are mine. You ar ethe person I love, and the person I want to enjoy this life with - She purred out, kissing the girl's cheek - So, please, stop apologizing for that, it breaks me seeing you like that - She said, letting go a bit, and making the girl shift, and turn around. So she was able to look her in the eyes - You should know, that you will never be a bother to me - She said, as she cleaned with her thumb the tears that had been rushing down the brunette's face. Before pulling her into a soft kiss.

- I love you, Diana - Akko said, falling into the girl's chest and hidding her face.

- Oh... OH MY HEAVENS! - Diana hugged the girl and started her peppering her with quick kisses, as it was the first time the brunette had said those three words.
