Little witch academia - Book two - one shot

Not much time

Akko and Diana rushed down the stairs of the Academy, as the horrible noises of an incoherent talking got closer to them, for what they could understand were the "ahh" and from time to time a "Brain".

-"Diana, hurry up, please"- Akko cried holding her girlfriends hands as she felt the girl staying behind.

-"Akko, I am not as athletic as you"- Diana said, hating herself for not practicing running, as she used to study books.

After arriving at the first floor, they stopped a second and catched their airs looking to where run, the left was filled with people being bitten, and the right had a few free spot to keep running.

-"Diana"- Akko said, signalling the girl to start running, at the same time the moved from the way, a few of the zombies fell from the stairs crashing where once they were standing, crawling around.

Akko had a tube in her free hand, and saw that one of them was coming toward her.

-"Let go!"- Akko screamed at Diana, freeing her hand.

With a quick move she used the tube holding the zombie back -"Move"- She said to Diana, as the girl quickly do what she said, the brunette turned to the side letting the living dead go with his own force throw him to the floor, before taking her girlfriends hand and sprinting back into a run, evading a few more that tried attacking them.

-"Akko! Diana!"- Amanda's voice was heard a few feet away from them, where Constanze had a gun, shooting the zombies, a clean shot on their heads, as she cleaned the path for the two girl's.

Akko glanced back at Diana, who was getting tired, she groaned a bit, letting go of the girl's hand as she turned around, going behind the blonde and picking her up, not once slowing her pace.

-"A-Akko!? You'll get tired!"- Diana cried, holding tight, knowing if she struggled she'd made the girl fall.

Akko huffed a bit, and jumped over one of the bodies that were in the middle, falling with success -"You safety comes first"- Was the only thing the brunette said, as she reached the girl.

-"Where is Jazminska?"- Akko asked as she let the girl down.

-"She is back in the broom room with Croix and Chariot"- Amanda answered, using one of Constanze weapons to shot a few mores.

They started to rush, toward the room, evading the groups of zombies, in one of the hallways they saw Sucy and Lotte standing over some statues.

Akko signalled the girl's to stay quiet, as she looked that a group was below the girls.

-"We need sometime to make noise"- She thought, before seeing the trophy shelf, then looked back at Constanze -"Do you have one of your guns that doesn't make noise as you shoot?"- She whispered and the girl nodded.

Akko picked the gun up, and pointed at the shelf, shooting it, making a loud cristal shattering noise, causing that the group in front of the statue crawled, and rushed their way to the noise.

After waiting a bit, Akko signalled the group to go over them, and quietly catched the girl's as they jumped.

The brunette handed the gun to Sucy, as she stayed with the tube, she once again hold her girl's hand and continued to the broom's room.

After a few more evading, they were close to the room, as the rushed, one of the zombies laying on the floor, reached the blonde's leg making her fall, Akko without thinking jumped over him, pulling him away, causing it to have a quick move and bite the brunette on the arm.

The girl muffle the scream, pushing it away with all her force -"Shoot him!"- She screamed at Amanda, who did as she said.

-"Akko"- Diana covered her mouth, her eyes watering.

-"Not the time, come on hurry!"- She said standing up, ignoring the burning pain.

She hold the girl's hand, as she ran what was left with the others, feeling the concerning eyes of her friends on her.

Once they arrived, Akko looked back and kissed the girl once, a quick one -"Take good care of her, please"- She said toward the girls, and quickly rushed away, pulling the door of the room close, knowing the teachers where going to open a portal there.

-"Hey!! You assholes!!!!"- Akko screamed, gaining the zombies attention, and rushed away, feeling her body starting to get the virus.

-"I couldn't tell her I loved her one last time"- Diana said falling to the floor, letting tears falls as she looked at the door.

-"She knows you do Diana, we have to go"- Amanda said.

Diana shook her head -"I don't want to leave her"- She cried.

Amanda groaned -"We don't have time for this, forgive me Akko"- She whispered to herself, before standing in front of the blonde, slapping her hard on the face, causing a few gasp, and a perplexed look on the girl's face -"Look here, Akko didn't just sacrificed herself for nothing, now pick up that pretty ass of yours and get moving!"- She growled, tears falling down her cheeks.

Diana closed her eyes and stood up, walking and picking a broom up, getting ready for the teachers.

The teachers yelled the spell for the portal, and after the flying one, the moment they took off, the door swing open, revealing a group of lifeless body crawling inside.

Diana slowly moved, and her heart broke, as she saw Akko, completely white eyes, grey dirty skin, lost as she walked.

She closed her eyes, and entered lastly the portal, tears streaming down her cheek -"Goodbye love"- Was the last thing she whispered.

Is been so long since I updated, but I have been uninspired lately, I don't know why.

And about this chapter, if you ask yourself how it started, or why can't they use magic, or something like that. Dude, give me time to think because that idea just came out, and It was like that, even I am curious on why XD
