"You're the ruthless King with the shattered Bones?"
"I am ruthless, but I can assure you there is nothing shattered about me."
"Is that so, Ivar the boneless?"

"What is troubling you, Lana?" Freya questioned her friend as she entered her room. Lana sat up from her bed and pushed the furs away from her legs. She spent quite a long time in bed. This had been her routine for the last few days after visiting with the Seer.
"I just have a lot on my mind." She admitted with a sigh. "Have I missed breakfast?"
Freya walked over to her with a tray, an assortment of fruits and a bowl of her favorite porridge. "Yes, Ivar and Freydis dined without you. Here eat this."
Lana smiled as she took the tray from Freya. "Thank you. I don't know how I would survive without." She plucked a plump purple grape from its vine and threw it into her mouth, squealing at the delish explosion in her mouth.
"I don't know how you'd survive either." Freya giggled as she took a seat at the edge of Lana's bed. "So..." Freya began as she watched Lana eat.
Lana slowly chewed on the fruit in her mouth as she lifted her head to meet Freya's eyes. "So....?" She repeated.
"It's been a week since your marriage with Ivar..."
"Yeah?" Lana shrugged her shoulder as she continued to eat her food. "It's not pleasant being tied to a man like him. If you can even call him that." Lana spat bitterly.
Freya shook her head, "you know you have to give him a heir right? It will solidify your rank as the true Queen of Kattegat. You wouldn't want..." Freya looked around before she leaned closer to Lana and whispered, "People are talking...and they're saying that Freydis plans to rule besides Ivar. You can't let that happen."
Lana placed the empty tray beside her and licked the juices of the fruits from her fingers. "If that's her plan, then congrats to her I guess because I'm not fighting over Ivar." Lana stared at Freya. She had no wishes to battle Freydis for Ivar's attention nor did she truly care to be Queen.
"That's not the point, you don't know what will happen if Freydis gets into Ivar's head." Freya tried to explain to her.
"Hasn't she already?" Lana climbed out of the bed and made her way over to the wooden wardrobe in the small room. "Ivar is a fool and he honestly deserves everything that comes his way, and if Freydis is his down fall, that's on him. The seer told me to look out for a wolf. It has to be one of them." Lana picked out a velvet dress and slipped it on over her night slip.
