Another day and you're still alive. You're suprised you've survived this long, but it doesn't matter. Not anymore. Today is the day that you decided that you will end it all.

Growing up in a family who didn't really care about feelings and didn't show too much emotion wasn't exactly an ideal home. That's why you chose to move into the Asahina family. They took you in happily and treated you with kindness. Everything was good until you started getting bullied at school. Someone had found out about your crush on Yusuke Asahina and now you were getting bullied everyday. Getting gum put in your hair, someone pulling back your chair so that you fall on your butt when you try to sit down, having your notebooks and papers thrown into the toilet (Ugh.. Remember this one too well and then having to do all the boring and stupid work again to not completely fail the class... Happy, fun times in school.), getting abused in gym class, getting called mean and disgusting names, the list goes on. You were tired of it. You just wanted it all to stop. Today it was finally going to stop. You were going to end your life. No more bullying, no more being a bother to others, no more being a third wheel, no more worries or problems. No more. You were going to hang yourself in the school yard. You didn't want the brothers to find your body, you've been enough of a bother to them already.

You tied the rope around the tree branch and stood up on a chair you borrowed from the school gym. As you tied the noose around your neck you heard something drop.

"W-what are you doing?..."

You turn your head to see Yusuke standing there with wide eyes. Why was he here? He's the last person you wanted to find you like this. School doesn't start for another 45 minutes.

"(Y/n).. What are you doing?"

"Yusuke.... I'm ending my life... I'm tired.."

He stares at you, not believing what he's hearing.

"W-what?.. No, I won't let you!"

"Yusuke.. I'm tired of it all.. I'm tired of getting bullied. I'm tired of being a bother to others. I just want it to end.."

You tear up, feeling ashamed and vulnerable. Yusuke slowly walks up to you and takes the noose off from your neck.

"Don't do this... I care, alright? I know I don't show it, it's awkward and lame, but I-I do care..."

You look at him, sniffling a bit. He's blushing lightly and doesn't look you in the eyes. He helps you down from the chair and hugs you tightly.

"...Please, don't ever do this again. I love you.."

You can't believe what he just said. Did he really just confess to you!? Your crush likes you back! You tear up again, but this time it's happy tears. (Why does that sound cute? Happy tears)

"I love you too, Yusuke.."

He hugs you tighter and strokes your hair. It's a calming feeling. You hug him tightly and snuggle into him a little. You feel at peace. You feel safe. You feel happy. You feel... complete.

"Hey, let's skip school and go get ice cream. We can watch a movie or something as well. Also, someone has to clean your cuts. I bet you haven't treated them in any way. They could get infected and you could get sick. That's a bother."

"How did you know?.."

"I've seen how they've treated you.. I beat some of them up, but I can't hit girls.. The principal didn't believe me or just ignored me when I tried to tell her, so I've been trying to collect some proof for these past few weeks. I finally gathered enough and she said she'll take care of it and make sure no one bothers you again."

"You went through all that trouble just for me?... I'm sor-"

"No! You're not a bother, it's not your fault, they're assholes, don't apologize!"

He hugs you even tighter, almost squeezing you to death before letting go.

"Let's go get that ice cream and then go to Masaomi so he can fix you up."

"And then take a nap. I'm so tired.."

"What's wrong? Is there something else I should know?

You giggle.

"No, Yusuke. I'm tired and need a nap is what I meant. I'm okay now."

He blushes darkly at the misunderstanding and takes your hand.

"L-let's just go..."

You smile and walk with him to get some ice cream. After that you walked to Masaomi, who scolded you both for not being in school, but treated your cuts and bandaging them up. You later walked home and watched a movie in Yusuke's room. You fell asleep in his lap, being exhausted from everything that had happened. He kissed your bandaged arms and let you sleep on his bed while he watched over you to make sure everything was okay.
