To find your style, you must first know what genre you most enjoy reading. If you don't enjoy reading a certain genre, chances are you won't be able to write it either. You need to know how to hook people on what they're reading and stay with one general topic. If you know the genre, you will probably have picked up little hints, tips, and strategists to writing it.
Finding my style:
1. Experimentation is key. If you aren't sure how you will be best at writing, experiment with different styles and genres.
2. Write for YOU. You may find out that you're amazing at writing one genre, but don't enjoy it. My advice to you is that even if you suck at what you love... YOU WILL GET BETTER. If you write... for example, romance, but you don't like it than it won't have the right emotion. Same with anything else. Horror won't be scary, action won't be fast paced and exciting, and mystery won't be mysterious.
3. Decide. Find the style that best suits you, and work on it. Read books of that genre and make it work. Try to write what you love to the best of your abilities... and everyone else will love it too.
Overall, you can't write a good story if you don't enjoy the style of it. That's like buying a show cat.... if you're scared of cats, and expecting to love it (sorry for the poor example).
