Appearance: Masanori stands about 5’8, yet has a smaller than average foot size for his height. He has varying shades of grey with almost a silver color weaving in and out of his disheveled hair with darker thick eyebrows. He has a monolid eye shape with very faint smile wrinkles towards the corner of his lackluster brown eyes. Bags underneath them show how tired he is of being in such a decrepit position. His fawn colored skin is dry and patchy and his large hands are so tough it’s almost like hide due to being in the unforgiving outdoors. Surprisingly, he has well cleaned fingernails and prominent cheek bones. At least he still has his slender figure and subtle muscles, even though that’s mostly because he’s malnourished and has to run a lot.

Personality: If you were to ever meet him in his current state, he would find a reason to despise your guts. Masanori blames other people for the problems that he has. He blames his fans for being unloyal to him and despises those who are successful due to him believing that they stole his career from him. He keeps his grudges close to his heart while keeping others at arm's length. Masanori is a great liar and can get swallowed up by his lies. He will become too good at embodying the character and lose who he is.The sudden change in his situation caused something in him to break. He needs people to need him, basically. The world needs to worship and give him offerings in order for him to be satisfied in life. Michio Masanori has been too distorted to even have any personality traits that are distinctly his.

Current Occupation: Petty crimes mostly, but sometimes works with the local mafia to help swindle people out of their money since he still has a little swagger left in him.

Background: Michio Masanori had grown up in a very middle class Japanese/New Zealand family. On a trip to Japan, a talent scout saw his looks and wanted him to become an idol. Masanori was the worst singer you could have possibly picked, and the talent scout dumped him ASAP. A director in a nearby studio watched little Michio imitating the talent scout’s words and actions and asked him to read a couple lines of a script for a new TV show. From there, Masanori became the lead character, Thatcher Solace, for the show “The Only Freedom in the World” back when he was 17. Masanori got too stuck in the role of Thatcher Solace to be able to act as any other character. The show eventually became dull and boring to the viewers until there was only the one actor standing outside the old studio’s doors for an entire year when he was 29. His family shunned and disowned him due to how broken he was. That’s when he started to befriend vengeance. 

Why are they On Air: Michio Masanori has the great desire for justice and to purge the evil out of those who had committed atrocities against him and Thatcher Solace and On Air will help mend the tatters of his old hopes and dreams.
