Harumi pov:

I let out a soft groan as I awoke. I opened my eyes slowly and in a daze before blinking a few times to get the dryness out of them. A shiver ran down my spine as I suddenly felt cold and I wrapped the blanket around myself tighter while snuggling into the pillow. I felt unusually tired and wanted to sleep more but I couldn't fall asleep even though I tried to for several minutes.

Finally giving up, I pushed up with one arm and sat up, wincing at the soreness of my body. I gasped though when the blanket fell off my body to reveal that I was completely unclothed. Squealing, I swiftly brought the blanket till my neck to cover myself and looked around anxiously.

I was in my room in the hideout and it took a few minutes for everything that happened yesterday to rush through my mind. Heat rushed to my face and I was so sure that my ears had gone tomato red too. I bit my lip and my heart raced in sheer fluster. I can't believe Madara and I had officially become a couple! And there were so many bite marks on my skin – Madara hadn't left a single part of my skin untouched.

I felt lightheaded and just too flustered and I lifted the blanket to cover my flaming face. After a few moments though, I lowered the blanket so only my eyes were visible. Madara had been rather...rough yesterday and my whole body was incredibly sore. While my shoulders and arms burned, my stomach and lower body had a numbing pain that momentarily jolted my body with every small movement I made. I didn't know it would hurt so much...

Biting my lip and wrapping the blanket around myself, I slowly shifted to the edge of the bed. I felt sweaty and sticky and I wanted to take a bath. I'm sure soaking in warm water would ease the soreness of my body too. And I hoped I could do so before Madara came into the room and saw me as I was now.

Swallowing thickly, I let my feet meet the cold ground and I took the wall for support to stand. My legs felt weird, like they had no bones in them, but I still tried to walk to the bathroom. I was barely halfway across the room when my knees buckled and I collapsed to the ground with a wince. My lower back and thighs burned and I breathed heavily as I waited for the weakness in my body to ease out a bit.

However, I tensed when the room door was opened suddenly to reveal Madara. He spotted me sitting on the floor barely a few feet from him and he raised a brow before leaning sideways against the door frame with his arms crossed over his chest. My face flamed as he smirked and I immediately looked down at the ground while clutching the blankets tighter to my body.

"What are you doing on the floor, Harumi?" he asked in a deep baritone and a shiver ran down my spine.

"N-nothing," I stuttered out, my heart slamming hard against my ribcage.

"Nothing?" he teased and I began to feel dizzy from overwhelming fluster.

Oh goodness, I really had to get away from him right this minute if I didn't want to make a fool of myself in my embarrassment. I got up impulsively only for my knees to buckle under me when I took barely one step forward. I gasped but Madara was at my side before I met the ground again and he gathered me into his arms.

"If you needed help, you could have just asked," he teased with a laugh and I could do nothing more than cover my face with the blanket once again while curling my toes.

Madara pov:

Having finally satiated my hunger with a bowl of ramen and boiled eggs, I headed back to the room. Harumi's chakra was calm so I assumed that she was still asleep. I would have to wake her up though so she could eat and then we could head back to the battlefield together.
