"And here I thought you gave up crime fighting." McKenna teases as I walk up to her.
"What?" I asks.
"Well. The business with Oliver, I figured you'd stay out of police precincts." McKenna adds.
"Yeah, I, I saw you om the news and I realized that I never properly thanked you for everything that you did, so thank you." I smile softy at her.
McKenna grins and goes back down to looking at the boxes of files.
"So you got promoted." I continue.
"Major crimes." McKenna nods.
"Wow! That's awesome, McKenna." I congratulate her.
"And they assigned me to the Dodger case. He extorts people into stealing for him." McKenna adds.
"How's that going?" I ask.
"Slow. Give me a second, Thea." McKenna says as she walks off.
Once she's out of sight, I reach for her phone and place the bug inside. When she comes back we smile at each other, our eyes staring into each other. I break away first and she goes back to looking at her files.
"It was nice seeing you the last time I saw you." I sigh.
"Yeah. It's good seeing you, too. I want to say they were like old times, but my old times were with your brother, they weren't exactly PG either. The fun times, I should say. Something I have been lacking recently." McKenna says.
"So how about dinner? Not now. I could um-, I want to take you-, I'd like to-. Would you like to have dinner with me, McKenna? I don't know if you heard I was on a deserted island for 5 years and I have little to no practice-." I stutter out nervously.
"Well, well, dinner would be nice. In fact, I can make myself free tonight." McKenna offers with a smile.
"I'll grab you at eight?" I offer.
"That's perfect." She nods.
"Yeah, yeah it is." I grin before walking off.

'Lance.'
'Sergeant, it's Detective Hall. I have an update on the Dodger case. A body was found in an art gallery shot point-blank. There were three other men, all rendered unconscious by a highly forced electric current to the heart.'
'Same MO as that guard at the museum. You got an ID on the vic?'
'His name is Cass Derenick.'

"Pause. Who's Cass Derenick?" I order as I start walking around.
"Uh, 'arrest, possession of stolen goods. Arrest, conspiracy. Conviction, attempted sale of stolen goods.'" Felicity reads aloud from the computer.
"This guy's a fence. The Dodger's looking to unload the Sherwood Ruby." John explains from beside Felicity.
"Which means he'll be in the market for a new fence one he hasn't, you know, killed." Felicity adds.
"So we find the fence and we find the Dodger." I sigh as I turn to address the two.

"You okay? You've been staring at the mirror for a long time." Oliver asks carefully as he pokes his head through my bedroom door.
"I, uh, have a date tonight. Contrary to popular opinion, I do have a life." I say.
