Carly's POV
A month has gone by, yesterday was my 5th month with my pregnancy. "Yeah, I'd like the book the venue for the 15th of next month." I said. "Hm, the 15th? Just a little over a month away, you're cutting it close." The lady said. "I know, it's for my wedding. Is it available?" I asked. "Luckily, it is available." She replied. I smiled. "Perfect! I want the service to be outside and the reception to be inside." I said. "We can do that. So, just to clarify, the 15th?" She asked. "Yes, ma'am." I said. "Alright!" She said. We said our goodbyes and hung up.
I sighed and put the phone down. "Okay, the venue is booked. I need to go and try on my dress again, make sure the adjustments are correct." I said to myself. I grabbed my wedding planner and pen and sat down on the couch. "Vanilla cake, the color scheme is pastel colors, the aisle leading up to Nikki is going to be completely covered in light pink rose petals." I read off quietly to myself. "I need to find someone to do my hair and makeup, I need to find someone to do that before the end of this month." I quietly reminded myself.
I marked off the venue and shut the book. I put the pen and book down next to me and put my hand on my stomach. "Penny, Mommy still has so much to do." I said. Nikki walked down the steps and smiled at me. "Hey, beautiful." He said. I smiled. "Hey." I said. He walked over and put the book and pen on the coffee table and sat next to me. "Hi, Penny Lane." He said and kissed my stomach. I smiled. "How's the planning going?" He asked. "It's good. I booked the venue." I said. He smiled. "I'm so excited to finally marry you." He said and kissed my cheek.
Worry flashed over me and I dry swallowed. "Nikki, you're sure you wanna marry me?" I asked and looked over at him. "Of course. Why do you ask?" He asked. "It's just, I don't want us to divorce." I replied. He scooted closer to me. "Aw, baby. That ain't gonna happen." He said. "I'm just scared. We haven't exactly been solid our entire time knowing each other. We break up and get back together, we have nasty arguments and one of us leaves the other, I'm scared that you'll wanna divorce me." I said. He frowned. "I wouldn't do that, Princess. We're finally both on the same page, we're finally solid." He said.
"But, just 5 months ago, we got into a horrible argument that ended with a breakup." I said. "You're forgetting the part where I proposed, though." He chuckled lightly. "I know, but you understand what I'm saying." I said. "I do, but you don't have to worry. I have never loved another woman the way I love you. I have never felt this way about anyone in my life. You're my person. My Starry Eyes. The love of my life." He said. I smiled and looked over at him, he was already smiling at me. "I promise, this won't end in divorce." He reassured me. I smiled again.
I leaned over and kissed him quickly. "I love you, I've been with guys while we were apart but, I never loved them. I never wanted to marry them, ever since I saw these beautiful green eyes, I knew that you were the only guy for me." I said. He smiled and his cheeks went pink. "Aw, you're blushing, Sixx." I said and pinched his cheek. He chuckled and swatted my hand away. "I'm so utterly in love with you." He said. "We're writing our own vows." I said. He smiled. "Good, I already wrote mine back in '83." He said. "What?" I asked. "You heard me, I'm changing it a bit and adding stuff on but, I wrote it back in '83." He said.
"I didn't know you even thought about marrying me then." I said. "I was going to propose on Christmas of that year." He said. I frowned. "Oh, oh my gosh. I'm so sorry." I said. "Don't. Everything happens for a reason, Starry Eyes. We weren't meant to be together then but, we are now. Now that we've both matured and stopped acting like teens." He said. "We still did act like teens, didn't we?" I giggled. He nodded. "Yeah, we definitely did." He chuckled. "Maybe we needed time away from each other, to truly see that we do love one another." I said. He smiled and kissed my cheek again. "I completely agree." He said.
I rested my head on his shoulder. "I just can't wait for the 15th." I sighed, happily. "Oh, you have no idea. I've waited for this day for 18 years." He said. "Damn, 18?" I asked. "Ever since I was 18." He replied. I smiled and caressed his face. I sat up and kissed him. He moved his hands to my waist and pulled me close to him. He broke the kiss and rested his forehead against mine. "Let's go to the bedroom, I want some private time with my fiancé." He murmured. I smiled and played with my lip ring. "I know you want me, too. You always play with your lip ring when you're turned on." He said, quietly. I smiled again. "Let's go." I replied.
He smiled and got up. He took my hands in his and pulled me up. He lifted me up bridal style. "I'm too heavy to carry." I laughed. "That's a bunch of shit!" He said, loudly. Making me laugh more. I smiled as he started to walk to the bedroom. I am the luckiest girl alive. Life is finally going my way. Finally.
