{DELTARUNE} Jevil X Reader

Uee-hee-hee..

(I just like naming the chapters by the quotes of Jevil. Idk why XD)

You eventually woke up, and you were still in his prison cage with the blue and purple striped walls.
But Jevil was nowhere to be found.

You panicked and got up from your resting area, and saw the door cracked, right where you came in.
You grabbed your blanket and pillows and searched the open room for the little jester.

You then looked over to your bag, and you saw it moving. Like something was in it. You slowly crept up to your bag, and picked it up.

It stopped moving.
You pulled one part of the bag apart from the other from the open zipper, and there was little Jevil, looking up at you, with the most adorable expression, with a cookie in its mouth.

The little jester has snuck into your bag and found your cookies...

He took the cookie out of his mouth, and he jumped out of your bag, and held the cookie in both hands.
"I like your cookies, lightener Y/N.." he said quietly.

You giggled and you set your bag down.
The empty baggie of what use to have cookies in fell to the floor.

"Jevil.. did you eat ALL the cookies??"

A wide smile came to his face and his sharp teeth were showing, with bits of chocolate stuck to them.
"Maaaaaybe.."
he did his little chuckle.

You shook your head with happiness.
"And speaking of food.. how do you survive in here without it?"
"Those boring guards come down and give me the food."
"Huh."

He stared down at the floor, and then back to you.

"You know, Jevil, your so much more friendlier and kinder when your not attacking everyone."

His wide smile dropped to a frown.
"But.. I thought my game was fun.. everyone thinks it's boring, boring... and dangerous, dangerous..."

"But I showed you how a game can not be boring and harmless."

He nodded his head sadly, the bells on the ends of his hat jingling.

"I also showed you love, if you noticed it or not."

You saw a purple blush creep up on Jevil's cute face.
He covered his cheeks with his hands.
"Y-you did?"

"I did indeed, Jevil."
He looked down and put his hands all on his face.
"You are so kind, young lightener.. I wish there was more I could do for you.." his voice muffled in his hands.

You started seeing his little body shake, and you heard hiccups and crying muffled by his hands.

You scooted closer to him, and picked him up, and set him on your lap.
You held him close to you, and he took his hands off of his face and he put his head on your chest.

"Shhh..shhh.. it's okay, Jevil. It's okay.."
you said softly.
You put your hand on his back and soothed him as he continued crying into your chest, trying to calm down.

He can be really chaotic, but he can also be soft and gentle, and sometimes even sad.
Everyone was wrong about him.
He did want to entertain everyone.
He did want to have friends.
He did want to be free.

But someone changed him, and now everything's different.

After a few minutes, you started hearing him calm down. He lifted his head off you, and he wiped his eyes with his hands. You looked at his face. There were purple tears streamed down his face, and he had the saddest look anyone could see.

Your bag was close to you and you gave him a tissue box, and he took one out and blew his little nose.
"Thank you, Y/N.." he said, his voice trembling.
"No problem, Jevil.."

You continued to hold him as he wiped his tears and blew his nose to get the boogies out. (I call them that sorry)

Jevil looked up at you and smiled.
You smiled back, and got the tissue box and all the used tissues, and stuffed them back into your bag.
You got up, and you lifted Jevil up with you.

He was lifted up to your face, and he leaned forward and he kissed your nose.
You blushed.
This little cute jester just kissed your nose. How adorable!

You set him down and he stuck his tongue out and he made a noise, like 'blep'.

You sat down next to him, and he reached into the black jacket that covered him and he pulled out a stack of cards.

"Can I show you a trick, a trick?"
You nodded your head.
He shuffled the cards.
"Do you have a blindfold, miss?" It was funny how he called you miss. You reached into your bag, only to find a bandanna.
"That will work too." He took the bandanna and tied it around his eyes, but it seemed a bit too big for him, because it went down and covered his nose.
He pulled it off of his nose and set it on the bridge of it so he can breathe.

"Okay, now as I shuffle my cards, you tell me when to stop."
You nodded your head and he started laying out his cards flipping them from one hand to the other.
"Stop."
He stopped. He pulled out the one that was on top, and he showed you it.
It was a 8 diamond.

"This is your card. Now I will put it back in the stack and shuffle it again, and I will try to pick it out."
That seemed almost impossible to you, but if he's done this before, you trusted him.

He put your card back into the stack and he shuffled... and shuffled.. and shuffled.
He eventually stopped. But then you saw him make a confused face.. and then kept on shuffling, and then stopping again.
He pulled out the card to show you.
"Is this your card?"
You couldn't believe it.
It was a 8 diamond.
You clapped your hands amazed at his trick.
He took off your bandanna and stood up and took a bow.

"How did you do that?"
"It was only a trick I learned before I was locked up. Many months and years ago, I showed this to everyone. But now I can't anymore, because they abandoned me."
"Oh.." you put your finger on your lower lip.
"Still pretty neat trick I do to myself. Thank you."
He sat back down.

You then realized- you've been here overnight, and you've been playing with Jevil all day.
You looked at your watch. 9:37pm.
"Jevil?"

He looked at you.
"Yes, Y/N?"

"I will be back the next morning."

"Awww, Y/N, don't leave! Don't leave!"
He clung onto your leg while you got your bag.

You leaned down and gave him a long lasting hug.
"I promise I will be back. Ok?"
"..o-okay."
You nodded your head and you got out a snack for him in your bag.
"Bye, Jevil. See you tomorrow."

"Bye, Y/N!.."

As you left his prison cage, knowing that he was happy and he had someone to play with, it filled you with determination.
