{DELTARUNE} Jevil X Reader

Metamorphosis..

Warning.. the chapter contains some cuddles!

You explained to him what the game was about.

He nodded his head when you spoke important parts, and his eyes were locked on yours, staring deep into your soul. As you looked back into his, a tingling feeling just kept hitting you.

You pulled away from his stare, and the game was ready to be played.

"Who goes first, then?" Jevil questioned, his head cocked to the side.

"You. I want you to start."

Jevil looked down at the game with split-second nervous look, and then changed back to normal as he moved the red piece diagonally to the left. 

He looked at you again.

You moved your piece to the left.

This kept going on and on.
And on.
And on.
And on.

Eventually, with Jevil's last piece standing, he hopelessly gave up before your piece knocked his down.
He got up in frustration.

"This game is impossible! Impossible!"
He stomped the ground.
You laughed at him as he was making a fool of himself.

He finally settled down once more and relaxed.
"Can we play a different game, ...wait.. I don't know your name.."
"Oh! Yeah, my names Y/N."
"Splendid to meet you, Y/N!" He shook your hand hard.

You rummaged through your bag some more but hopelessly couldn't find anymore games.

"Oh no.."

Jevil looked over.
"Oh boo hoo.. so sad it be.."
he sat back on the floor again and his body slumped forward.

You skidded your bag across the floor until it reached a stop.

You heard Jevil yawn.. you turned to see him rubbing his eyes.
"I'm.. I'm exhausted.. I've been playing all day, day..."
He leaned back sideways until his body was laying on the floor, and he turned on his side, facing you.

"Your not tired, lightener Y/N?"

You shook your head no, but from all day from running around and eventually falling here and the room spinning from the fight.. you were dizzy and exhausted too.

Maybe you were.

You really didn't wanna walk over there and lay with the now cute-looking creature, but at the same time, you did.

You just stared at him laying. His eyes were looking at his hands, which he fiddled his hands together.

"How could one being be tired, but the other not?"
He questioned.

You shrugged your shoulders. And you admitted that you were exhausted and sort of tired too.

"Why don't you lay down and take a rest, then?"

You sighed and got up, and layed down behind him, your bigger body facing his smaller body.
You found this oddly cute about him.

You then wrapped your arms around his little body and you felt him pull up his knees and he put his little arms around your arms and he made himself comfortable.

He was just so fricking cute.
You held him closer.

But you weren't that comfortable, because you were laying on hard, cold floor.
So you got up, and you ran over to your bag and managed to get a blanket and three small pillows.

You jogged back over to the resting Jevil and put the blanket on his body and yours, and tucked what seemed the small pillows around you, and the big pillows around him. Since he was.. yet small.

You felt warmer. And you rolled you and him into a burrito.  You felt so warm. Holding him made you even warmer.

After a few minutes, Jevil stopped moving.
You looked at his face.
His eyes were closed, and his mouth was slightly open, breathing in and out slowly, and his heart rate dropped to a slow pace.

You couldn't help but a big smile formed on your face.

You held him close to you, and you felt Jevil turn his body so his chest was facing yours, and he tucked his little head between your neck and shoulder.
And his arms wrapped only around to your waist because he was a little boi once again.

You squeezed your arm out a little, but not all the way, just enough for some room, and you reached up and started rubbing and petting his head, while your other arm wrapped around his waist, right above his booty where you felt his J-shaped tail move a little between time to time.

You eventually fell asleep, and loosening your grip a bit on Jevil.
As you drifted away,
In your dream,

He was there.
He was always there.

Right in your heart.

And he will always be in yours.....
