Chapter 11: Kakashi the Sharingan Warrior

Naruko's POV

"Naruko!" The others shouted as I coughed up a bit more blood. I opened my eyes and looked at Naruto. He was glaring at Zabuza, but I could tell he was worried about me. I looked over at Sakura, and she just looked plain terrified. I looked over at Sasuke, and I could see clearly how shocked he was.

"You're nothing," Zabuza said to me. He gripped the handle of his sword. "Defending your weak and pathetic teammates like that. You're better off on your own!"

"You know I'll do anything to keep my teammates safe," I growled at him, voice weak and raspy from the pressure on my torso.

"Stop right there!" Naruto yelled. He did the Shadow Clone hand sign. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" His clones were all in a circle around Zabuza and I, and Zabuza looked around, a little impressed.

"Oh," He said. "Shadow Clones. And there's quite a few of them. Your brother is interesting, just like you told me in the past." Last sentence directed towards me. All of the clones pulled it kunai and got ready to attack.

"Here we go!" They all yelled simultaneously. They all jumped into the air and charged Zabuza. Zabuza kicked me away, hard, and sent me flying. I yelled and coughed up a bit more blood.

"Naruko!" I heard just about everyone yell. I hit the ground hard and slid for a bit, but something caught me and stopped me from sliding further away. I looked up and saw Sasuke looking at me worriedly.

"Why did you switch places with me?" He asked me.

"Because, even though I knew you could take it, I didn't want you, or any of my comrades to get hurt," I told him. "And because Naruto needs your help taking Zabuza down. Go help him. I'll be fine." I reassured him and slowly got up. He stood up as well and got ready to help Naruto. I watched as all his clones formed a dome around Zabuza, before all of them got pushed back and poofed. I activated my Sharingan and Byakugan again to see what was going on.

"His skills are too advanced," Tazuna said. "He's too powerful. There's no way to defeat him."

"Tazuna, all people can be defeated somehow," I told him and stood up. I saw all the clones sliding away and poofing, but I saw Naruto rummaging through his bag for something

"I'm not giving up!" He said. "I've still got this!" I watched him pull out a folded giant Shuriken. "Sasuke!" He yelled and threw it to Sasuke. He caught it, spun around and held the Shuriken in front of him after it opened. I saw every detail thanks to my Sharingan and I smirked. 'Not a bad plan boys.' I thought.

"Demon Wind Shuriken: Windmill of Shadows!" Sasuke said as he held the Shuriken in front of him, eyes shadowed. 'So cool!' I thought. I wasn't really fangirling, but I still thought Sasuke looked really cool right at that moment. Sakura was blushing and gasping excitedly, but what really annoyed me was the fact that so far, she hasn't actually done anything.

"A Shuriken?" Zabuza asked. "You'll never touch me with that."

"Wanna bet?" I asked Zabuza. Sasuke crouched low before jumping high into the air. He fell for a second to gain some momentum. He grunted and yelled a bit as he threw it with all his might. Zabuza looked up and was surprised when he saw the Shuriken missed him and went for his real body.

"So you passed the clone and aimed for my real body. Smart," Zabuza noted. "But not smart enough," He said as he caught it with his left hand. "Huh?" He said and looked up suddenly when he saw another Shuriken coming right at him. "A second Shuriken in the shadow of the first. The Shadow Shuriken Jutsu." The Shuriken was coming right at Zabuza, and he couldn't catch this one. It was dead in target, and everyone was watching intently. Especially Naruto, Sasuke, and I. We knew the plan would work. Zabuza waited for a bit before he jumped over the Shuriken perfectly. "I told you, a shuriken can't touch me!"
