Bonnie's POV
I gasped heavily, waking up in fright holding my chest. I breathed heavily, looking around to notice where I was.
I was in a bed, with the sunlight blaring down at me. I noticed I was wearing a daylight ring. I felt my stomach, I was literally starving.
I removed the covered off of me, without intention speeding towards the door. I exhaled deeply, "gotta get used to that", I thought reaching out trying to catch my balance.
I swallowed hard, to damp my dry throat. I slowly opened the room door, walking into the hallway, I heard ample conversation downstairs.
"What do mean you think she's still human? You sound ridiculous?", the voice of what sound like Damon asked someone.
"Would you keep your voice down?", a voice asked.
I walked down the dark hallway, slowly walking down the stairs causing everyone to turn towards me.
"She's up", a voice whispers.
Everyone except Elena, was standing there.Damon, Noah, Stefan and Caroline, stood at the foot of the stairs as if they were waiting for me.
"did you sleep well?", Noah asked approaching me. I nodded. Standing straight and awkwardly as hell.
"are you hungry?", Damon asked me.
"Starving actually", I say casually following him into the kitchen, with there eyes at that followed me.It was awkward for them. And me as well too I guess. They saw me as a child. Like they had to watch me, watch my very move to make sure I didn't mess up anything.
"That usually happens the morning after", Damon said making conversation as he walked to the fridge and pulled out a blood bag.
Tossing it towards me, my automatic instinct was to caught it which I did.
"I can't— I can't eat this", I tried to explain.
"See told you", Caroline said."That doesn't prove anything, okay", Noah said.
"It does. You said it yourself Stefan, what vampire doesn't eat blood. Therefore, Bonnie isn't a vampire. She's still human", Caroline says.
I placed the bag down on the kitchen counter, walking towards the closed curtains in the kitchen window.
"W-what are you doing?", Noah asked me.
"The Sun burns vampire flesh", I say opening the curtains."Hey.. you don't have to prove anything", Damon tells me trying to convince me not to take of my ring.
Too late.
I quickly snatched off my ring, placing my hand in the sun, causing me to wince in pain. Seconds later, I placed back on my ring looking at Caroline."Still think I'm human?", I asked her.
She remained quiet."Okay. Now that we have established that you are you really a vampire, can you please explain to us what happened last night?", Stefan asked approaching the kitchen counter.
"If you guys were wondering if I killed someone, no. But I did, feed. I stopped himself before I could kill him", I say.
"Him? Who?", Noah asked.
"Some frat boy. I compelled him to forget anything ever happened", I say."Smart", Damon said.
Causing me to slightly smirk."Okay, And how was it. I mean drinking his blood?", caroline asked.
"It was amazing. A part of me didn't want to stop, but other part told me it was wrong.
I don't know if it was because I knew I was about to kill him that made me stop or that fact that my body wouldn't allow anymore", I explained.
