you were a young student studying hard in all subjects and attempting to follow the more "reliable" route as your parents called it. but business, and med school didn't ever call your name and you seemed to be pulled back to film every time. maybe it was the way directors controlled everything with such a firm hand, or how the casting directors found the perfect fit for each character, maybe it was the way everyone specialized in something but it all ended up in a cohesive manner, whatever it was, you wanted it. luckily for you, your film and theater teacher mr.o'connor had gotten you an internship helping out on the set of a new movie called "much ado about nothing" and today was your chance to see how casting works. you made your way to the casting room and introduced yourself to everyone that sat along the round gray table. you took a seat and a script was handed to you and noticed that today you the were casting the role of claudio. boys and men came and passed with nothing standing out to you or the casting director, sure they were all good but they didn't seem to connect to or understand the character. the last actor was outside waiting for the indication to enter, "robert sean leonard" you read of the casting list, you nearly panicked as you read his name, you knew the young actor from one of your favorite movies, dead poets society, and frankly you always did fancy him. as he entered you took him in, drinking in his simplistic beauty and his soothing voice, he began to read his lines and you couldn't strip your eyes from him so you sat there with a dopey, and doe-eyed look on your face. robert finished his audition and everyone stood, with you leading the chorus of loud applause. he shook everyone's hand coming to you at last, he gripped your hand with his smooth one, he stared deeply into your eyes and spoke "i don't believe anyone told me your name." you blushed and said "y/n, but i have to tell you how amazing that was i mean- wow." you giggled. "well thank you y/n, will i be seeing more of you if i end up with this role?" he inquired, his hand still in yours. "yes!" you said enthusiastically, "i-i- i mean um yes, you will" you softly spoke trying to play off your unintentional overexcitement, he just smiled wide at looked at you with his soft eyes and said "good."
a/n i actually have no idea where this idea was when i needed it like i spent days racking my brain trying to figure what scene i could do lmao. but i hope you enjoyed! question: have you seen the 2017 version of IT? and if so did you like it?
answer: yes! and i loved it because the cast is absolutely amazing and richie is so funny.
