Chapter 45

"I really need to go but do you want me to take you home? You can come to mine or I can stay at yours if you want company, but I feel like you've had enough fun here for one day."  Adam talks to Zayn on the couch. They were sitting beside each other, one of Zayn's hands on Adams leg while the other held a beer can. Adam held onto Zayn's hand.

"No I wanna stay. Plus I'm gonna start sobering up, so you don't have to worry about me." Zayn smiles while placing the beer can on the table in front of him. "I promise." He says as he sees the concern on Adams face.

Adam debates for a moment, swinging his head from side to side before sighing in defeat. "Alright, fine. But if you need someone to come pick you up, just give me a call yeah." Zayn nods and he places a swift kiss on his lips. "Bye." Zayn was still pretty drunk and couldn't form more words at the period of time as Adam was his body support and he had just stood up, so Zayn was trying not to fall face first into the cushions below him. Though he did offer Adam a little wave to make up for it.

"Not sure where Harry and Liam snuck off too but I'll let them know you said bye." Niall says as he's walking Adam out the door. "Good seeing you again though." Niall closes the door and takes a deep breath. It's hard hosting a gathering. He didn't think Adam was coming and James stormed out quickly and, Louis and Zayn. Don't get him started on Louis and Zayn. He fucking loves them but fuck him dead, it's hard to keep control of them with alcohol in their system.

He was just grateful to see Zayn nearly passed out, sitting up, on the couch, while Louis was all over Josh. Anyone else would've been annoyed but Josh deals with children on a daily basis so Louis' basically just one of them. "Louis, cmon everyone's around." Josh laughs.

"Hasn't stopped us before." Louis smirks, kissing down Josh's neck. "I just wanna have some fun." He pouts.

"Why don't we go then? That way we can make as much noise as we possibly can?" Josh suggests. Louis sucks harder on Josh's neck in reply, causing a hiss to escape his lips. "Hey Ni, we're off." Josh calls out as he sees Niall approaching them, acting as causal as he can.

"Probably the best idea." Niall holds back a laugh as he watches Josh try to control Louis. "I'll give ya a call tomorrow Lou?" He asks. "Check that you've sobered up a little and if not, there will be a McDonalds delivery on its way to help. Because no doubt Zayn will be needing one too."

"I need to find my keys, can you uh- hold him?" Josh asks Niall.

He nods in reply, peeling Louis' arms off of Josh. They automatically wrap around Niall's neck, while Niall holds onto his waist. Josh goes in search for his keys, which Louis had hid earlier, in attempts to stay longer. Niall gave it is best to hold onto Louis but he really did forget how weak he was.

"I'm not gonna lie to you." Louis starts, his face was only inches from Niall's and Niall could smell the beer on his breath. "I'm pretty hurt. Like I really am and if I had the chance to go back 7 months in time, you know my choices would be different."

Niall frowns sadly. "Louis.." this is probably the last thing he wanted to hear. He loved Louis so much but he had moved on and he thought Louis had too.

"No no no, it's not what you think." He hiccups. "I'm really happy for you and Harry. You guys are perfect for each other and that's the main thing that matters."

"Lou you know I love you and I hope.."

Louis interrupts again. "And I love you too Ni. So much. So much more than you know." He leans forward and Niall was stuck in place, but rather than kissing him on the lips, like he thought for a split second was going to happen, Louis stands higher on his tippy toes and kisses him on the forehead, letting his lips linger there for a short moment. "But I'm finally letting you go." He admits.
