Wild west

You could practically see the tension in the air.

You stare at the two from your desk, they've been staring at each other for the past hour and it's gotten quite intense.

This mostly started because Gavin got a little too close and you called him out on it. He denied it. Connor got mad and the rest is history.

You're waiting for them to duel it out with cool cowboy hats and pistols heck maybe one of them will say it's high noon. "Wanna run that by me again plastic prick?" Gavin narrowed his eyes at Connor.

"I would like for you to step away from (Y/n) or things could get ugly. Your choice." This is more intense than a shootout! Almost everyone was watching and waiting for someone to either shoot or throw a punch.

"What did I say would happen if you told me to do something huh?" "I don't know. I forgot. Just like how everyone in your life forgets about you Reed." oof nice one, Connor looks at you for a moment and you give a thumbs up.

"Listen here you little shit." Gavin takes a step forward and so does Connor "I will break you so bad that those little engineers at cyberlife won't be able to fix you." "Do it. You won't." "This is like an episode of West World." You think and ready your gun just in case something does go south.

Gavin starts to walk closer to Connor "Why you little-" you fear for the worst and decide to end the little fight so you shoot the ceiling, getting the attention of both men "alright you two that's enough. Gavin I want you to stay the fuck away from me. And Connor I want you to leave Gavin alone so he doesn't do anything stupid." "Okay detective." Connor calmly walks away.

"You always side with the damn android! Why can't you side with a fellow human huh (Y/n)? Are you secretly an android infiltrating the department?" You aim your gun "Step back. Or this bullet will end up in between your eyes." Gavin glares at you "Whatever. This isn't over." He leaves the building.

"Uh huh." You sit back down and continue writing your report "Are you sure you're alright (Y/n)?" Connor stands right next to you "Yea I'm fine. Just a little shaken up." he smiles "I don't think I'd survive the Wild West though. Too much tension and I'd probably say something wrong and end up dead." You joke.

"Well I'm glad your here today in this day and age." "Why's that Connor?" "Because that means I get to love you." He kisses your cheek "We got another case also." Of course.

Even though you wouldn't survive the old Wild West you could handle the modern Wild West that was in your office.

Hey destiny 2 gamers or fans um how do you cope with the  trailer for the Forsaken DLC? Because I can't fuckin breath after watching it. Bungie just kinda tore out my heart.
