i rang the doorbell to the atkins family completely nervous. it was the first time i was meeting them and saying it was nerve racking would be a complete understatement. jeff's mom opened the door, a sweet looking woman with brown hair and a petite figure.
"you must be the girl who's taken my little boy's heart" she smiled at me warmly.
"mom you better not be embarrassing me!" jeff called out. she invited me inside and i took in my surroundings. i had been here before but his parents were never home at that time.
jeff stood up in a button up shirt and walked over to me giving me a simple kiss on the cheek. "mom, dad this is her the girl i am completely in love with."
"you love me?" i whispered.
he gave me a warm look our eyes locking "what do you think, no girl has ever been special enough to meet my parents" he whispered back.
