Something warmly bright dances on my eyelids for a short moment before I open my eyes to the dim light cast by the cloudy sky through the window. The place beside where I lay appears empty and cold. I push myself up and head to the door.

The room outside is also empty making me wondering where would he be off to this early. Maybe he is really pleased with this weather and likes to spend his time in the cool breeze. Though even in between the sheets, I find myself turning and toss in the uncomfortable temperature at night.

No wonder I can't get enough sleep. And with the anxiety about Senya...

I sigh and push the thought away for now. I make my way to the bathroom and proceed to my business. Just when I'm about to be finished undressing, I remember that I forget to bring in towels.

Mentally slapping myself, I put back on the white yukata, and without securing back the obi around my waist, I head out. And regret doing so when I open the door. The remaining coldness soaks through the garment and clenching it tight together, I quickly head to grab a piece of towel.

I see Shinsuke's black haori is placed in between them and think of bringing it to him after I shower. After shutting the door to the bedroom, I jump when someone suddenly speaks.

"Care to entertain me this early?" The captain says over the small table he's sitting, smirking at me.

I mentally scream and clutch my outfit tighter together. Stupid! I forgot that this is not my room.

Embarrassed, I intend to ignore his tease and walk into the bathroom.

     "Why bother since-"

I flip around and quickly cut off. "Ahh, where are you getting at! I just forgot to bring the towel," I retort, feeling hot as ever despite the chill.

His smirk deepens as he reads my embarrassment like a book. "Oh? Then what's my haori doing there?"

I look down at my arm, and at his dirty smile, I pull the haori from the towel and toss it to him, covering his face as I storm into the bathroom.

Shinsuke stands by the window by the time I get out. The black haori over his shoulders making him 'stand out'. He looks out so intensely that leaves me regard the view outside with a held breath, as if waiting for an imminence of something. Then his thoughtful expression lands on me.

     "We're here," he says.

I feel the air around us presses in as I solemnly nod before head to put back the towel.

Here. I need not to ask where by does he mean. There's only one place that he promised to come. One destiny shared by us though with different goals.

Here. I can finally meet Senya again.

I walk to the window and stand beside him. Somehow, with his presence, it helps to chase away any doubt that agitates at the corner of my mind and makes it vividly clear. And thinking back, I'm not sure why I kept the truth from him for so long when they could help us in both ways. Eliminating his enemies, while I protect my one sister-like friend.

"Do you think that they've made it before us?" I say over the silence, looking up to him.

His gaze stays glued to the window. "I don't know." It's the first time I find him so uncertain of things.

The thought opens a smile to my lips. Shinsuke catches it and asks, "What?"

I wave him off and attempt to chase the smile away, but fail. And I end up releasing a laugh. "No," I manage, and one look at his frown delivers another giggle from me. "You're always so certain of things that sometimes you almost make me think you can foresee things."
