*Shawn*

My eyes opened to the sun squinting in through the white blinds.

The chirping birds sang from the nest just outside my bedroom window.

The rooms temperature held a bit of an odd chill causing me to lift up the sheets a bit more.

I began to stretch out my body, sitting up just slightly.

As I rested my head back against the headboard, I noticed the most pathetic sight.

The sight that sank my heart deep into my stomach, made my palms sweaty.

It was the sight of a girl lying just inches away from me.

A girl snuggled under my white sheets, snuggled under with nothing but a bare back and tangled hair.

But this girl, she wasn't just any girl. I could recognize her body anywhere.

And her hair, that style only belonged to one person.

That girl, that girl was none other than Hailey, Hailey Baldwin.

My breathing began to shorten its pace, my forehead breaking out in sweat.

Fucking shit Shawn.

As my first instinct, I lifted up the sheets searching for some sort of clothing on either of us

Nothing.

I scanned across the bedroom floor to see a trail of clothing.

I threw both hands to my forehead in distraught and fell back into my pillow.

We didn't, we couldn't have.

Holy fuck Mendes, h-how the fu—why did we..?

It was a matter of seconds before she turned her body around to face me.

Her eyes fluttered open, her lips curved up into a grin.

"Morning." She smiled up at me.

"H-Hey." I stuttered in complete guilt.

"Its a little chilly in here." She giggled earning a small laugh from me.

She pulled the covers up a bit over her bare shoulders, resting her head on my chest.

"It's Saturday right?"

"Sunday." I breathed out.

"Right," Hailey began, "So last night..." She continued with a smirk as she stretched her body out.

"Yeah about last night, did we?" I motioned to our tangled bodies.

"Yeah don't you remember babe?" She pouted flashing her eyes up at me, battering her long lashed.

"O-Of course," I sighed looking up at the wall in anger.

"I knew we'd come back to our senses eventually." She giggled.

I couldn't let a word out. I sat still in silence.

"It feels like I never left this bed." She said.

"Yeah, well you did." I hissed causing her to lift her head a bit.

"Soo..." She dragged as she began running her index finger up and down my abs. "What do you think Andrews gonna say?"

I quickly grabbed her wrist and threw it off me.

"Nothing because he's not gonna find out, no one will." I mumbled moving away from her abruptly causing her head to fall off of me.

She gasped in shock as her head hit the mattress hard on.

I slid off the bed and threw on my boxers as fast as I could.

I stormed over to the end of the bed and bent down to pick up all of her clothing.

"What are you doing?" Hailey asked as she wrapped her body in a sheet, standing up from the bed.

"What does it look like?" I growled throwing the ball of clothes at her.

She caught them with a smug expression and opened her mouth.

I reached for the door knob, opening it for her to exit through.

"Oh wow, what a real gentleman," She started,
"You're really just gonna kick me out like a one night slut!" She spat.

"Yeah, that's exactly what I'm gonna do." I snickered.

"God, you're so fucking unbelievable Shawn." She scoffed running out of the room.

I watched her scurry down the long hallway, storming down the spiral staircase.

I shook my head and punched the door frame in anger and regret.

It was just seconds until I heard the front doors slam close, shaking the house a bit.

I ran over to the window outlooking the driveway.

I saw Hailey running out to her car with her clothes and heels in one hand, other arm holding up the sheet still wrapped around her.

I slid open my window a bit and yelled out at her.

"I want the sheet back!"

She looked up in horror and furrowed her brows.

"Go to hell Mendes!" She shouted before hopping in her Mercedes.

I backed away from the window and watched her quickly pull out of my long driveway.

I walked around and slammed my bedroom door shut, sliding down it.

I put my heads in my hands and tried to think back to what happened last night.

It was all a blur, too much alcohol in my system.

I grabbed on tightly to my button up from last night and threw it at the wall.

"Fuck!" I shouted in utter fury.

I couldn't help but build up the urge to break  everything in sight.

In this moment it truly wasn't Hailey that got to my worst being, it was the thought of Quinn.

How I kissed her so suddenly.

How I fucked up our date and let her run out.

How within just days I have already managed to break my own heart without her.

And how I absentmindedly broke hers too.
