*Shawn*
After everything I did tonight, she just left.
What's her problem? I took her on a nice date, brought her home, and let her meet my friend.
I even made out with her in my car!
I decided in order to shake off the thought of her for a moment I'd take out two glasses and the open bottle of Pinot.
"The fuck was that Shawn?" Andrew growled as I entered the living room with the two glasses of wine.
I rolled my eyes and handed Hailey her glass.
"She's just hormonal right now." I groaned earning a laugh from Hailey.
"I leave for one minute and by the time I come back your date is storming out the door! I wanna know what fucking happened!"
Hailey stayed quiet as she sipped slowly on her wine.
"Sip away, I'll wait." Drew chuckled sarcastically.
"What was I supposed to do?! Am I not allowed to be with my friend too? Did she see something wrong with that?" I argued.
"It's one thing to be with her Shawn, but to be be nearly on top of her while your date sits across the room is so wrong."
"Who even said she was my date?" I spat.
Andrew remained silent for a moment as I took a sip of my drink.
He scoffed, shaking his head and getting up.
"So you're gonna leave too?" I asked.
He snorted a bit, laughing back sarcastically. "Would you like me to stay? Would you like me to join in on you're little rendezvous?"
"Are we not allowed to catch up?" Hailey pressed.
"I get you two haven't seen each other in a while but this, we tried this." Drew said motioning to our close positions. "And as I can recall...cheating was a given." He spoke before heading over to the kitchen.
We silently observed as he grabbed his keys and phone off of the counter.
He caught our stares and was immediate to turn his back.
"Oh just keep drinking it all away Shawn," He shouted walking towards the door. "You underage mother—" He let out slamming the door before finishing.
I let out a deep breathe and looked over at Hailey.
"Well then." She spoke up before chugging down the remaining liquid in her glass.
I swirled the wine around my glass along with beat of my chest.
"I'm gonna need something a little stronger."

I should've seen it coming from the start.
He's no different.
How did I even waste a moment thinking he would be? Why did I believe he'd actually choose someone like me?
He's got a whole career right there, and he chose to spend time with me?
I should've known better.
And how, how does Noah have the audacity to confront my parents? To come confess some lie to them. After months of harsh feelings and paper work he can still build up courage to say such foolish things. To be oblivious to the fact that I left. That I'm gone.
My mind ran loose as I curled up onto my couch clutching nothing but my heels.
I came out here to get away from lies, from the dark truth.
