Any mentally unbalanced individual can come up with a creepy fan theory about your favorite cartoon -- that's why they're called "fan" theories. However, every once in a while we come across some that are just too compelling to ignore, even if reading them guarantees that we won't sleep for the next month.
What if I told you that...

One of the great things about Winnie the Pooh is how each character has an interesting, distinct personality, but if you've ever found yourself relating to any of them, we've got some bad news. The Canadian Medical Association Journal published a study in 2000 that diagnosed each of the characters with crippling mental illnesses.
Pooh, with his attention problems, has ADD and impulsivity with obsessive fixations (on honey). Eeyore is obviously suffering from depression. Tigger, with his endless energy, has ADHD. Piglet has an extreme generalized anxiety disorder. Kanga has social anxiety disorder manifesting as overprotective mothering. Owl has dyslexia. Rabbit has OCD, and of course, Christopher Robin has schizophrenia that manifests as visual and auditory hallucinations. If you want, you could try to apply each character's illness into Christopher Robin's fractured psyche, but it's probably dark enough as it is.
6.) Candace Flynn has Mental issues?

This theory explains how Candace actually has mental health issues and is not completely sane.
Phineas, her little brother, was bullied a lot in school and it got extreme one day and he was killed. Since then, Candace has been unable to cope with Phineas' death so she created an imaginary world where he still exists.
Her other brother Ferb is actually immobile and can barely talk, so she created a world where her two brothers would go on amazing adventures together. This is why her mother can never see the contraptions her brothers create — they never existed. Dr. Doofensmirtz is said to be Candace's therapist so he becomes incorporated into the world as the villain. Pretty dark stuff.
7.) Hey Arnold is actually a show about Helga?

The theory comes from one Reddit user, who claims the entirety of the television series is actually about... Helga! "Think about it, who is the only person on the show that ever gives a monologue? Who is the character that is struggling with strong inner issues that involve coming of age and self? Even the name of the show is a quote straight from Helga. "Hey Arnold!" Wow.
8.) The Powerpuff Girls are just normal little girls?

According to this theory, the Girls are actually just normal children who pretend to be superheroes. The Girls' father, Professor Utonium, isn't actually a scientist at all. In fact, it is believed that he is simply an ordinary pharmacist who makes medicine in his basement for a company. This is the reason as to why the Girls are never allowed into the basement
Mojo Jojo, the series' antagonist, was actually the Girls' half-brother. He was sexually interested in his younger siblings, and he attempted to capture them in any way he saw fit. This is the supposed reason as to why he is the most feared figure in the main series.
HIM, the satanic figure in the main series, is believed to have been the Girls' homosexual uncle. The reason as to why he's seen as the Devil in the main series is because his brother, Utonium, was very intolerant of homosexuals, and deemed the concept as being ungodly. He also convinced his daughters to stay away from his brother, and he never mentioned his brother by name. Instead, he always referred to his brother as "Him."
The theory also states that Fuzzy Lumpkins is their neighbor, the Gangreen Gang are normal teenagers who go along with it, and that the Mayor of Townsville himself is the Girls' grandfather.
