Trudging out to the stands, Izuku was blinded by the sunlight at first till finally seeing the arena. Hearing explosions and shouting, followed by coursing from within the arena. Seeing that it was Katsuki and Kirishima's match; the second round final match before starting the semi-finals. A bit bummed out at the fact he missed Koyuki's and the other match.
"Midoriya-kun!" Turning to the face the caller, Iida and Toru waved the boy over. Quickly pacing his way to the two and was greeted by them and the rest.
"Midoriya-kun, I'm glad your surgery was a success!" Like the rest, Tenya was relieved to see the greenette well.
"Right, thanks." Then remembering Iida and Koyuki's match, and as well not seeing the mage anywhere, "Where's Koyuki?"
"Waiting in the prep room." Informed Toru, shoulder's bouncing in her glee, "You should've seen them! They wouldn't let their guard up and continuously clashed at the other!" her gym sleeves moving back and forth, seeming to imitate some form of fight style.
Pushing his lenses up, "Right. Dragoon-san is a worthy opponent and bested me in the round." Though he was disheartened at the loss, he couldn't lie about how skilled the mage was out there. Smiling lightly towards the Midoriya, "She's an incredible adversary."
"Yeah, she's incredible..." Izuku openly agreed with a soft smile to himself.
"Riiight, Midoriya-kun~" Hummed the invisible girl, teasingly implying something to the boy. Izuku only blinked owlishly in confusion at her words, "Huh?"
"Nothing~~!" Chirped Toru, recieving a sweatdrop from Ojiro, watching this play. Shrugging off her words, Izuku returned to Iida, "Do you know if your Onii-chan, Ingenium, has been watching you this whole time, Iida-kun?"
"I called him earlier." Tenya quickly answered, but seemed a bit aloof. Nodding at the dark bluenette's answer, "Oh, okay."
"But he was busy with work. So he wasn't able to see my match against Dragoon-san."
Suddenly, the arena roared once seeing Katsuki come out victor with his difficult match with Eijirou; being the fourth contestant in the semi-finals, "BAKUGO'S LOW-DOWN CARPET BOMBING BLASTS HIM INTO THE THRID ROUND!! AND WITH THAT, WE'VE GOT OUR FINAL FOUR!!"
"Wait." Izuku perked up in realization and turned to Tenya and Toru, "Since Koyuki won, doesn't that mean...?"
"Todoroki is her next opponent." Iida confirmed his thoughts. Izuku turned back to the arena, feeling a bit of nervous sweat, 'This fight's going to be the most intense one...'
Koyuki tracked her way to the exit of the cavern, but stopped in surprise in seeing a figure blocking her path. A blue tight fitted suit with orange flames coating his shoulders and face. Using them as a mask and mustache and beard. Perking her pale brow at such show of flames, 'Natsu would've eaten those right in front of that man's face...' Continuing her track without stopping, before she could even pass the buff man who had his arms crossed. The hero spoke up from behind, "That's quite the Quirks you have there."
Not expressing her confusion at his words, but did glance back at the man, "Yes?"
"I've never seen such vast power and skills from any other person." Now both hero and mage met eye to eye; Koyuki frowned deeply at such hard stare and smirk, "Especially from any other woman."
'What's his game?' Not liking his words and the conniving smirk on the hero, but she did not show any form of discomfort or feeling of being threaten. Keeping her composure and impassiveness, "Uh huh." Turning away and facing the exit once more, "Sir, I have a match against Shoto. So please, I must head out before they take it as me dropping out of the match."
Only to hear the man's deep chuckle, "Shoto? Are you in a relationship with my son?" Koyuki wanted to glare back at the hero, now knowing this man is Shoto's abusive father and the man who has pushed his wife to commit a deed that she may regret in the future. But his next words almost made her snap at the hero, "A fine choice of partner. Though you have troublesome tendencies, I approve of your relationship."
Clenching her fist, containing her magic from snapping at the man angrily at his vile words. He's viewing this as selective breeding; his own son with any potential partner as animals with fine qualities of traits. And from Shoto's backstory, Endeavor is viewing her "Quirks" as something to inherit into the family to gain.
"You're mistaken, Shoto and I are only friends." Holding back her tongue from hissing out her words. Men like that do disgust her, too many she has come across in her adventures and other guilds, specifically Sabertooth's old guild master and Laxus' father.
But before leaving the man alone, "Oh and one more thing." Glaring behind her at the hero, "I'm not some meat to be picked out from the butchered shop, sir."
Walking out with proud stride, a proud female wizard who shall not take any insult from anyone.
Now both she and Shoto stood far from the other in the ring. Both calm and serious, while the crowd cheered loudly. Many high cheers at seeing the Dragoon and those knowing Shoto's hero background. Izuku and the rest perked at seeing them out.
"You can do it Koyuki-chan!!" Toru jumped up from her seat, already waving around and cheering for her friend. Mashirao flinching back at her sudden action, "Hagakure-san, you're going to hit someone." But flinched back once more when Ochako joined in, but with her deep and determined frown from before, throwing her arm high around, "GO KOYUKIIIIIIII!!!"
'She's showing her fangirl side...' Tenya and Izuku thought with nervous sweat.
"Will she be okay against Toroki-san?" Denki honestly asked with concern, hearing an angry tch from Bakugou, "That Half 'n Half bastard won't even win this round."
Almost everyone in class A, except Izuku, gawked in surprise at Katsuki's words and the fact he said Shoto would be the one to not last against Koyuki. More so that he commented for the matter.
Seeing this, the ash blonde sneered, frustrated at their gawking eyes, "What the fuck do'ya want!"
"AND HERE ARE OUR SEMI-FINALS FINALIST! ONE FROM A RENOWNED HERO FAMILY AND ONE FROM PUBLIC POPULARITY!!" Present Mic commentated excitedly, which elevated the crowd to cheer louder, "TODOROKI SHOTO VERSUS DRAGOON KOYUKI!!!"
Many of the students were surprised when crowds of people stood up and roared out excitedly, tension much different then before.
Both competitors stood ready; one crouching into her battle stance while the Shoto readied as well.
"START!!!"
Within a second, Shoto blasted a large glacier. Reenacting his action towards Sero and freezing over Koyuki's form completely and detaining her within the thick ice. Knowing the girl, she'll go for a close combat attack; something he doesn't specialize and needed to quickly take the upper hand.
"He totally buried Dragoon-chan in thick ice!!" Were Jiro's worried shout. Not seeing Koyuki's body, but only layers of ice. Momo and a few were in shock at the aggressive attack. Unsure if the girl can come out unharm, even having a similar Quirk as Todoroki.
When Ochako took a worried glance to Izuku, she expected the greenette to be frantic and worried for his friend's match.
Clearly, she got a completely different reaction, "Todoroki-kun will have to use his second Quirk on Koyuki if he wants too even be close to beating her." Watching this with such calmness, not a single drop of worry on him being. But continued to watch with such seriousness at the match.
