I knew it wouldn't last long it started a couple days ago when I heard whispers from pack members who didn't seem that happy to have a rogue here not that I blamed them I knew the risk and the damage a rogue could do for all they knew I could have been sent here to scout them out and not having an Alpha around seems to already have them on edge. But what I didn't expect was a vote more than that I didn't expect the Beta to be on my side.

It had been half an hour since Aiden and Bea walked with me to the green in front of the pack hall where they held pack meetings I could hear angry voices and I could even hear a few people with kind things to say about me. Suddenly the doors burst open and pack members flooded out towards me Aiden stood strong in front of me and it warmed me.

I heard a few voices demanded I get out some shouting of how a rogue deserves nothing but the death sentence. This carried on for a few moments before a booming voice silenced everyone.

" ENOUGH " It was of course none other than Alex

" I understand your concerns but this wolf saved the lives of my siblings and needs our help you all remember when I was in her position. Alpha left me in charge and she's not hurting anyo-" His little speech was interrupted by a man's voice in the crowd.

" The Alpha wouldn't agree with this I say we have a vote on if she stays or goes " the crowd mumbled in discussion reaching the conclusion they were happy with this idea.

Alex's eyes met mine and held pity there was nothing he could do his Beta authority could only do so much without the Alpha's word.

So a vote it would be.
