A/N: This chapter is written after chapter 14 in the series! Aaaaand I rewrote this chapter because I wasn't satisfied with it!

My name is Maia Anderson, I moved to Riverdale a few days ago. I moved from Greendale to Riverdale, because of my fathers job + arrest and my mom getting sober. She used to drink, but she's sober now and she's working harder than ever.

My dad worked his ass of to make money for us, but he got caught in the wrong business and now he's in jail. He left a lot of money for us though, so we would be okay, besides my moms job requires her travelling around the world, so she makes a lot of money too.

Anyways, when I came through the doors of Riverdale High, I look around for the student who is supposed to show me around on my first day, the halls looks nicer than in Greendale...that's a good start.

"You must be Maia Anderson, am I right? I'm Veronica Lodge your guide for today, welcome to Riverdale High" A chirpy voice suddenly says and I turn around to face a raven haired pretty girl.

"Oh yeah, that would be me and nice to meet you" I say and smile politely. "You too, have you gotten your locker number? And schedule?" Veronica asks and a blonde walks up next to us. "Hey, V" she says and looks at me.

"Maia, this is Betty Cooper, my best friend, Betty this is the new girl Maia" Veronica introduces and I smile at Betty, that's some special names they have here. "Nice to meet you, Betty--and yes I have gotten my locker number and my schedule" I say and search my bag for the piece of paper that were sent to me.

Veronica reaches out for my paper and I hand it over. "Oh we almost have all classes together" Veronica says cheeringly. "Great!" I say and Veronica and Betty nods and smiles at each other.

"So, do you want to see your locker?" Veronica asks after handing my paper back to me. "Sure, lead the way" I say and Veronica leads me to the lockers and Betty starts a small talk. "So, you come from Greendale, right?" Betty asks and I nod. "Yup, so far it's not that different here in Riverdale than Greendale, Riverdale seems more nicer though" I say and chuckle. "I like you already" Betty says and smiles at me before hooking her arm with mine.

At lunch Veronica and Betty both leaded me to a table with two other guys sitting by it. "Maia, this is Archie and Jughead, boys this is Maia, the new girl!" Veronica introduces me and I wave at them. That seems to be her favorite sentence today. 'This is Maia, the new girl!'

"Oh, so you're the one everyone talks about" Jughead says and I nod and sit down next to Betty. Veronica peck Archie's lips and I mentally note that they're a couple. "So, who's dating who in this group?" I ask playfully and Betty and Jughead lean into each other with a smile. "Oh, so, I'm the only single one here" I say as I realize they're all dating.

"So far, yeah" Archie says with a chuckle and I chuckle too. This is...interesting, "Betty scoot over" A demanding voice says from behind us, Betty looks at me mentally apologizing, before moving together with Jughead and a very familiar redhead sits next to me.
