17. Jackson

"I really sense something between you and Jackson. Are you dating?" your friend asks when Jackson went for restroom.

You almost choke yourself with your sandwich, "We're best friends that's why we are that close. You know we've known each other since born maybe?"

"But isn't he courting you?" she continued, "Don't you think he likes you?"

"Who likes my Jasmine?" Jackson headlocks you suddenly, mocking you. "Huh?"

"No one" you shoved his arm. "Eat your stuff. Break's almost done" you pushed the sandwich towards him.

Jackson and you practiced your dance for the evaluation while your friend still eyes and observes Jackson, the way he looks sweetly at you like you are the most precious diamond existing.

Your friend comes over your house since she lives nearby. "Truth or dare?" she smirks.

"Dare. If I'll choose truth for sure it's about Jackson again" you rolled your eyes at her.

"Dareeee~" she rubbed her palms like an evil witch. "I dare you to ignore or act roughly at Jackson for three days.

//Dare game: First day//

"Jasmine, here" he handed you his bottled water which you always share with.

"I have mine" you said coldly and showed him your bottled water.

Your instructor claps his hand for your attentions, "Everyone, meet the newest trainee, Kim Yugyeom" he gestured to the giant lad beside him.

"Annyeonghaseyo Kim Yugyeom-imnida. Let's all be friends and debut together" he formally introduced.

It's finally lunch time, "Hey can I join you two?" Jackson asked the unusual, holding his lunch. The three of you ate lunch together since then but you seem cold to him so he prefers asking.

She kept quiet and nudged you to answer him, "No boys allowed" you continued eating.

'What's wrong with her? Did I do something wrong?' he thought and just occupied the nearest vacant table from yours.

Yugyeom passes by your table and your friend invites him to join you two, "Yugyeom, right?" he nods, smiling. "I'm (friend's name) and this is---"

"Jasmine" Yugyeom continues. "We know each other"

"You said no boys allowed but then you gladly invite that new trainee" Jackson mumbles, piercing his meat with fork in annoyance.

"And she even smile at his stupid aegyo?" he gritted between his teeth, clenching hard on his utensils.

Your friend looks at her peripheral vision to check on Jackson, 'Seems like someone has burning jealousy' she smirks.

//Dare game: Second day//

"Jasmine, did I do wrong to you?" Jackson says as you practice your dance.

"I don't want to talk to you" you rolled your eyes at him. 'That sounds very rude' you bite your lip but that's part of the dare.

"Where is Jackson? Won't he walk us---you home?" your friend asked when no one is behind you like yesterday.

You shake your head, disappointed. "I become very rude at him in the practice... Wait, aren't you coming home with me?"

"Nope, eomma wants to see me after school in a restaurant"

"Jasmine!!! Is Jackson hyung not walking you home?" Yugyeom came out of nowhere. You shook your head, faking a smile. "Let's go home then!" he got your bag like Jackson usually does and your friend ride the bus to somewhere.
