"Y/N, 10:00," your friend Brooke said, elbowing your arm. You nodded, waiting a moment before turning around. The cafeteria was flooded with groups of people. Aside from Aris you couldn't remember seeing a boy, let alone this many. A blonde boy sat at a table, a few away from you. His eyes met yours, and he looked away quickly.
"He's been checking you out for like ten minutes now." She whispered. The boy kept looking down at his plate, a small hint of pink forming on his cheeks.
"He's kinda cute." You admitted. Brooke nodded.
"Uh, Yeah. I'm not blind." She whispered back.
"Maybe you should say hi." She added. You contemplated the idea, turning back to check if he was still looking. Sure enough, his brown eyes were focused on you. Not in a creepy way, just intrigued. Your eyes met again, but this time you smiled, giving him a small wave. He blushed, biting his lip nervously before waving back. His friends noticed and started talking to him, one brown haired boy glancing over at you, quickly, before turning back to his friend.
"I think you should talk to him." Brooke said quietly.
"Maybe later, I don't even know what group he's from." You replied. You went to throw away your extra food, and when you looked over again, the blonde boy was the one to smile and wave first.
