Author's Note: This request is for StarrieGal45 I hope I got the name right. Who wanted a Dry Bones X Scared Reader Romance One Shot story!! As usual this one shot might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block!! The Dry Bones is Male while the Reader is Female if you're wondering. Thank you and enjoy!! ~Your Name Point of View~

I was on my way to the meadow which was full of many delicious berries and fruits. But to get to the meadow I have to go through the Forest of Illusion which is home to many creatures and known for travelers to get lost. Yet I must get to the meadows for I want to make a delicious mixed berry pie with whipped cream on top!!  I made my way towards the entrance of the forest which to be honest gives me the creeps since I have Mazeophobia. Slowly yet quietly I went inside hoping to make my way in and out of the forest safely. (Forest of Illusion is a area from Super Mario World).

~Third Person Point of View~

(Your Name) tried to find her way towards the Meadow and keeping calm. But with so many trees, twists, turns, dead ends, and monsters around caused her to start panicking!! She began having a panic attack as (Your Name)'s breathing became erratic and short, then she blacked out into unconsciousness not knowing that a strange creature took her somewhere else. The creature is a Dry Bones who lives in this forest for many years, though he may look scary but he's kind and gentle. Dry Bones placed the female near a safe haven where no monsters would dare intrude, then he placed her on a soft bed of grass and waited for her to wake up.

~Your Name Point of View~

"Where am I?" I spoke once I woke up. I find myself in a small clearing which has a pond, a big tree, and a bunch of mushrooms scattered everywhere. Then I felt something touch my shoulder, I turned to see a Koopa Troopa skeleton? I screamed and hid behind a rock while holding a branch as my 'weapon'. The skeleton held his hands up and slowly backed away making me curious as to why it didn't attack me.  "Who are you?" I questioned to which the skeleton wrote something on the soft dirt. "I'm Dry Bones nice to meet you." I looked at the writing then back at the being. "I'm (Your Name) so you saved me?" I asked. "Yes I saw you unconscious and lost so I brought you here until you recovered." He replied. "Thank you very much Dry Bones." I replied as I got up but then I got a idea. "Can you take me to the meadow? Please?" I spoke. "The Meadow? Yes why?" He said. I then explained my phobia and why I wanted to go to the meadow to which he agreed. 

~Dry Bones Point of View~

I held onto (Your Name) hand as I escorted her towards her destination. Along the way we would encounter monsters but I easily defeated them by throwing bones at them. There were times when (Your Name) would get panic attacks but I would calm her down by holding her hand and rubbing her back making (Your Name) smile in gratitude. Few minutes later we've made it to the meadow which is always sunny, filled with flowers, and of course lot's of delicious fruits. (Your Name) took her basket and filled it with many berries of various sizes and colors. "Thank you very much Dry Bones!!" She thanked then kissed me?!? If I had skin I would be a blushing mess right now but I thanked (Your Name) with a hug and promised her to take her home safely.
