You secretly watched as Brett and a few other lacrosse players get back at Liam. You wince slightly as they continue to throw lacrosse balls at the boy.
You are on Devenford Prep lacrosse team which is how you heard about the few team members playing on doing this. You knew you alone couldn't stop it and nobody else would join you to help him. So you had clue what to do now that you are here.
I feel useless. You think as you stare at a bloody Liam since before they threw some lacrosse balls at him one of the players punched him around a little.
You stare sadly before an idea pops into your head. With a mischievous smile, you pull your phone out and quickly find a video of a police siren.
"Shit, the cops." says Brett before he and the other players sprint away leaving a beaten Liam behind
Once they are out of sight, you run to Liam.
"Liam." You say as you kneel down next to him
"Please don't hurt me." begs Liam with a whimper thinking you could be possibly be mad at him too as he attempts to scoot away
"I'm not here to hurt you. I'm the one who made the siren noise so they would leave." You explain
"So...you aren't mad?" shyly asks Liam
"Liam, I'm not happy we lost the game, but I'm not going to beat the crap out of you over it. It's a game now come on. I have a first aid kit back in my car." You answer
Liam gives you a small appreciate smile as you wrap your arms around him. Which soon turns into a look of pain as you help him up.
"Okay, I think that's it." You say as you finish cleaning Liam's cut
"Thank you, Y/N." says Liam softly as he looks down while he sits on the hood of brother's car that you or may not have stolen
"It's no problem." You say giving him a small smile
"Thank you for helping me Y/N....I-I don't know what I would do if you didn't show up and stop them." says Liam softly
"It's no problem, we are teammates. We are supposed to be there for one another." You say with a shrug
Liam slowly and gently slides off of the hood of the car before he makes his way to you. Liam places a hand on your waist before he places on your cheek gently caressing it. You watch as he leans his head down and before you know it he presses his lips to yours. Your hand move to tangle themselves in Liam's hair.
"I've wanted to do that for a long time now." says Liam as the two of you pull apart, your foreheads leaned again one another's
"Me too." You say with a big smile
A huge grins forms on Liam's face before he gently captures your lips in another sweet kiss.
