Blair's POV
The next day, I woke up and saw Willow look at me already. "Good morning."
She smiled. "Morning." She caressed my face. "How are you feeling?"
I slowly smiled. "Better than yesterday." I looked down for a bit. "Willow," I looked back up at her. "Thank you, for last night. I don't know what I would have done without you."
She smiled a little. "It's ok."
I shook my head. "It's not ok. I shouldn't have cheated."
She sighed deeply and then turned on her back, it was clear that that situation was still hurting her.
"I made a mistake, a very huge mistake." I looked down. "And I deserve to be punished for it."
Willow looked at me. "No, you don't." She sat up, patting her lap. "Come."
I crawled to her and went to sit on her lap, me facing her.
"I understand the situation better now."
I raised my eyebrows. "What do you mean?"
She wrapped her arms around me, pulling me closer to her. "Rachel is clearly confused." She started, which made me look away. "She may or may not like you, I don't know, but she is confused. She's going between you and Luke, and is just enjoying it."
"I don't think - "
"And I know she's just doing that because she's afraid."
I looked up at her. "Afraid?"
She nodded. "She's afraid of you."
I blinked. "What? No. Willow, Rachel is my best friend, she's not afraid of me. That's ridiculous."
Willow showed me a look. "She and everyone else is afraid because they don't know how to handle you."
"What?"
"Blair!" I looked at the door, as if mom would suddenly enter. She wouldn't be able to, the door's locked...
"Go, I'll wait."
"I can't stay up here alone anymore." I looked down. "They worry that I..." Then I looked up and saw Willow nod. At that moment I wondered, was I really that much of a problem to everyone?
"Blair!"
"Go, meet me in the park afterwards."
I got off of Willow's lap. "I'll hurry." I leaned in for a kiss.
"Don't make me wait too long." She said on my lips.
"I won't." I hurried downstairs and, when I arrived, saw mom and dad sitting at the dinning table. Luke and Rachel were standing behind them.
I slowly walked to them, not knowing what was happening. But judging by their faces, I knew it was something serious.
"W-what's going on?"
"Have a seat." mom said to which I immediately did. "Blair, what happened last night?"
I gulped and looked down.
"Luke and Rachel came home together, but you went home alone, apparently." dad said, he was worried. "Why did you leave early?"
I shrugged. "I was just tired." I looked up at them, and immediately saw they didn't believe me. "What?"
Mom looked at Rachel who then stepped forward. She handed me her phone. I took it and looked at it, there I saw a video. A video of paint being thrown over me. The video where I cried in and begged for them to stop.
I gulped and tried fighting the tears. I shoved the phone back towards them.
"What is this, Blair?" mom asked, somehow she seemed angry. Was she angry at me? I didn't do anything wrong, Nick did.
I kept looking down. "N-nothing."
"Blair, who did this?" Rachel jumped in. She sounded very worried as well.
"It's nothing."
I saw dad reach for my hands, he held them in his. "Sweetie, what happened? Who did this to you? And why?"
I shrugged.
"Was it Nick?" Rachel suddenly asked to which I heard the rest not agreeing, they didn't believe her.
I looked up slowly. "Why don't you all believe her?"
"Nick would never do that." Luke said, arms crossed. "He's our friend."
"Absolutely," Mom agreed. "And we keep him as a friend."
I blinked, what was happening here? "W-what?"
Rachel seemed, just like me, paralyzed. "Why is this important?"
"Because friends don't do that to each other." Mom looked back at me. "So, what happened?"
I looked down. "Nothing." It's useless now anyway, it was clear what side they picked.
"Blair, don't make me ask it again."
I got up and ran away.
"Blair!"
I ran outside and straight to the park. I hurried so they wouldn't catch up to me. I took all the shortcuts I could.
When I arrived, I saw Willow sit underneath a tree. I walked to her and sat down next to her.
"So," She put her stuff away. "How was it?"
I shrugged.
"That bad?"
I looked at her. "They are choosing Nick's side." I looked down, holding my own hands. "They'd rather look away from this whole problem."
I felt Willow look at me but she didn't say anything, I think she was listening. And I appreciated that.
"How can they expect me to talk about my problems if they simply don't care?" I looked at Willow, tears already forming in my eyes. "What do I do?"
Willow looked apologetic at me. She patted her lap again and so I went to sit down on it, me facing her. I leaned closer and let my head rest on her shoulder.
She wrapped her arms around me, caressing my back. "I can help you feel better."
I pulled back a little.
Willow reached with one hand for her pocket, and there she took out her pocket knife. She looked at me. "Do you want me to do you?"
I gulped, I looked around.
"There's no one here."
I looked at her and slowly nodded. I pulled my sleeves up and presented her my arms. Instead of looking away like last time, this time, I looked at her. I looked at how Willow was helping me get rid of the pain.
And Willow, she looked at my arm as if she was holding something precious. Sometimes she'd look up at me and smile. She'd even give me a kiss if she saw I was crying.
"You're in control." She'd whisper regularly. "You, only you."
When she started at the other arm, I leaned in her embrace. I let my head rest in her neck while I watched her.
She'd kiss my head and keep on telling me the same line over and over again: "You are in control. No one else is hurting you."
