So, as most of you already know, I just recently got into the Star Wars fandom and I'm looking to expand outside of the traditional movie universe and into the expanded universe. Most Star Wars fans know that since Disney bought Lucasfilms that there are technically two "canons": Legends and Disney Canon. Legends is basically every novel, comic, short story, etc. that was published by Lucasfilm before being bought by Disney. Disney Canon is, obviously, everything created by Disney (Disney wiped away all of Legends from canon). However, from what I've heard, it's a general consensus that Legends is still widely regarded as the main canon and will be the one that I will explore first.
This post is basically a log for me to look back on once I've explored deeply into Legends.
Now, I know that Legends is very big and includes comics, novels, short stories, etc., but I've decided to only go into the novels as those are the only ones that I have LEGAL access to. Also because the novels, from what I hear, cover a large majority of what Legends has to offer.
Here is the timeline for Legends for anyone else that would like to explore it along with me.

As for Disney Canon, thus far, I like it. It does have a bunch of similarities with Legends (from what I know of Legends and from what I've heard), but that it is doing its own thing. However, if I like it more than Legends remains to be seen.
tsarwars Because I know you haven't read into Legends, I want you to join in and read some too! XD (Although knowing you, you might not and will just rely on me to tell you the major details the Legends universe which is fine too!)
