i miss you

{ in which lisa misses jennie during the school break. }

it has been a month since lisa last saw jennie, 37 days to be exact.

she remembers jennie blowing a goodluck kiss to her, lisa was about to perform on stage and jennie had classes to attend.

lisa regrets not giving the brunette a tight hug while she ran towards the stage, after making sure that jennie was in class safe and sound.

because as jennie closed her eyes and stuck out her lips, a playful gesture jennie always did to lisa, the blonde girl was frozen in her spot, flustered and blushing. all she could do was to cup jennie's cheeks in her warm palms and whisper a soft goodbye.

after all, that was enough for her, she managed to convince herself.

during the school break which lasted for a month, unfortunately, lisa kept thinking back to the moment she last landed her gaze on the beautiful brunette, she missed the girl so much.

though, she wasn't quite sure if jennie craved for her touch as much as she did.

for 37 days, lisa could only think about jennie. even as she watched jisoo's snapchat stories with jennie almost every single day, lisa told herself she had no right to be jealous.

she would look too desperate if she asked her out for a meal, that's what lisa thought, tossing her phone aside and burying herself under the covers.

lisa would even dream about jennie on certain nights. she would wake up smiling like an idiot, because the dream felt a little too real.

and that was enough for lisa, she convinced herself once again, she shouldn't expect so much.

yet on the morning of the first day of school, lisa found herself crashing her body against a certain confused girl, arms wrapped around each other in a tight hug.

"i really missed you, jen. i waited a month for this hug."
