The next day at school I looked a mess, my eyes were red and blotchy due to my break down last night and it hadn't cleared up. However, I just talked to the people I had to, like certain teachers, my girls and Ava. Just before lunch I bumped into Mr Robbins.
"Addison, how are you?" He beamed.
"Umm, okay I guess" I shrugged.
"You don't look ok; do you want to talk about it?" He actually looked concerned, it was almost weird that someone had cared enough to ask me if I was okay.
"Not really Mr Robbins" I started to walk off. But he had a hold of my arm.
"Addie please, let's go in here" he pulled me into an empty class room.
"I'm fine, thank you though sir, for asking" I wiped the tears that had started to fall off my cheeks.
"Addie are you sure? I'm always here if you need me, you can always drop me and email" He rested his hand on my arm to comfort me and gave it a light squeeze.
"Thank you Mr Robbins" I smiled.
"Nathan"
"What?"
"My names Nathan"
"Oh, well thank you Nathan, I better get back to class" I smiled at him once more before leaving.

The rest of that week went similar; I didn't talk to anyone unless it was necessary. However, on Friday I bumped into Nathan again in the same situation.
"Hi sir" I beamed.
"You look happier today" He smiled replying.
"I guess I am, thank you so much for the other day, it helped"
"Like I said, it is fine and if you ever need me you know where I am, so what class do you have next?"
"PE I think, I'd do anything to get out of it" I laughed
"I have a free next period, shall I get you off PE and you can do some extra science"
"Can you actually do that?"
"Umm... I don't know, shall I email the PE department?" I nodded as he got out his iPad out of his bag and started emailing the head of PE about getting me out.
"If they say yes, what are you going to teach me?" I giggled because that sounded vaguely rude and he made me slightly nervous.
"I'm a biology teacher Ad, so biology" he laughed. "They said yes, follow me to my classroom" He continued walking down the corridors and stairs, until we reached the bottom floor which I was rarely in since it was used mostly for sixth formers. I sat on the desk closest to the front and placed my bags on the stool next to me, before getting out my pencil case and my science book while Mr Robbins went to get us both a drink.
"Please will you move your bag Ad" I looked up from my book and he was stood with two mugs of tea. I moved my bag onto the floor and took one of the mugs off of him.
"Thank you" I smiled while taking a sip of tea.
"Its okay let me get a text book" He placed his coffee on the desk and got a biology text book off the shelf.
"Ok, sir can we go over photosynthesis?"
"Sure" he turned the book to the page on plants. "Okay, so you know back in year 8 when you learnt about the sun being involved?"
"Yeah I guess" I looked up at him, but he was already looking at me.
"Are you going to tell me why you were upset the other day now?"
"It's just some girls in my year, it's stupid"
"Addie, it's not stupid they made you upset" He put his hand on my shoulder. I just looked at his hand. "I'm sorry" He moved his hand onto the desk.
"No its fine" I moved my hand so it sat on top of his on the desk. He smiled at our hands before looking back up at me.
"Your beautiful, you know that?" He whispered, before moving slightly forward until our lips touched. "I'm sorry" he moved away and turned back to the text book.
"No, it's fine" I smiled. I grabbed his hand and held it in mine. He smiled back and looked into my eyes.
"See me tonight?" He handed me a scrap of paper with his address on.
"I would if I could get there" I took the piece of paper and placed it in my blazer pocket before laughing at the situation.
"I'll pick you up? Where from?"
"Urm, do you know where the fish and chip shop is on Queen Street?"
"Yeah there at 6?"
"Yeah that's fine, can I have a piece of paper?" He handed me a scrap piece of paper. "There, text me so I get your number and don't think you're another boy" I joked as I returned the piece of paper with my mobile number on it.
"Okay" he got out his iPhone and typed in my number, sure enough a couple of seconds later my phone vibrated. I got out my smashed outdated Samsung galaxy. "What happened to your phone?"
"Oh, I got angry last month and threw it across the room at my brother, but it missed him and hit the wall" I shrugged while adding his number.
"I guess the wall won?" He let out a slight laugh.
"Hm well yes, I guess it did" I laughed with him. "Okay, so can you help me with a slight bit of chemistry?"
"I know the bare minimum but sure, what do you need to revise?"
"The carbon cycle, isn't it also in the biology exam?"
"It is, here look at this page, what do you remember?"
"Hardly any of it" I shrugged.
